Forgiveness Part 2

1 John 1:9

King James Version (KJV)

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

All we need to do is confess our sins to God, and He will forgive us. If we are truly sorry, we won't continue to sin over and over.

Romans 6:15-23

King James Version (KJV)

15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Yes, Jesus has forgiven us of our sins, and we can never lose our salvation, but that doesn't give us the right to sin. We are going to sin, but we should not knowingly sin. When we mess up God will forgive us, but He doesn't want us going out, and repeating our sins.

Jeremiah 33:8

King James Version (KJV)

8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

Psalm 51:2

King James Version (KJV)

2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

1 John 1:7

King James Version (KJV)

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses all sins, and in order to go to Heaven, we have to be saved, we have to be washed in His blood. He is the only way to Heaven.

John 14:6

King James Version (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you are not washed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, do so today. Confess you are a sinner and ask Jesus to save you. Believe in your heart he died and shed His blood on the cross for you. Believe He rose from the dead three days later. God can forgive any sin, and He can forgive and save you.

Romans 10:9

King James Version (KJV)

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

It is as simple as that. The easiest, yet most important, decision in you life.

Keep me in your prayers!

Let the all glory and credit go to God, not me.

God bless!!!
