I ignored Robbie and continued on with my work.

"Victoria! Why doesn't Robbie have his breakfast!?" Mrs. Silvers yelled from her bed as I passed her room.

Shit. Mrs. Silvers is Mr. Silvers's mother, really old, and really cranky. She practically built this place with her bare hands.

"I was just going to go get it!" I called as I took a sharp left and ran to the cafeteria.

"Mr. Silvers gave me Robbie's allergy list, here is his breakfast." Helga, the lunch lady spoke.

"Thank you!" I said as I rushed out the door.

I got to his hallway a few minutes later.

"Look, all I'm saying is you're not being fair." I heard Robbie say.

"Sir, I'm sorry, but your records aren't allowed." Destiny, a newbie, spoke.

"Aren't allowed to do what? Breathe?" Robbie said sarcastically.

"No, you just can't eat your meals with the other patients, it's too dangerous." She said.

"Well, I need someone to eat with, how about you?" Robbie said.

I saw Destiny tense up at the thought, at this point I stepped in.

"Here's your food." I said as I handed him his tray.

"Ah, I like Victoria better, you can leave." Robbie said as he shooed Destiny off.

She looked at me and I nodded to her as she scurried off.

"Hi." Robbie said.

"Bye." I said as I walked away.

"No! Wait!" Robbie yelled.

I sighed and turned around.

"Yes?"

"Will you um eat with me?" Robbie said.

"Uh yeah I guess." I said as I went inside his cell.

"Thanks, just didn't want to be alone."
