The Strings Attached

Part 22

"Hey Tom?" I say quietly so I don't wake Harrison. "Are you okay?"

Tom looks at me and sighs, but nods. "Yeah I'm fine." He whispers.

"Stop lying." I say, which makes Tom sit up and look at me. "You even said yourself, I'm your twin and I know you better than anyone. So tell me the truth, what's wrong?"

Tom glances down and bites his lip before looking up at me. "I'm just tired, and the press tour is coming up and I'll be really busy and I know I had to get used to it. I don't know, I feel fine but at the same time I don't."

I sigh and look at Tom, who looks really upset. I extent my arm out and I he leans against me, as I hug him. "It will be okay Tom. Don't worry."

"I know Alexa. I'm just so tired." He mumbles, starting to drift off.

"I know Tom, I know." I say. He closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep. I lean over so Toms under my arm and I'm leaned up against Harrison. And slowly I start to drift to sleep.

"Ladies and gentlemen we are making are final departure to London. Please turn off any electronics, fasten your seat belts and move your seats to the upright position, thank you." Someone says over the intercom.

I blink my eyes open and see that we are starting to land. Harrison slowly opens his eyes and glances down at me
and smiles. I look over at Tom who's starting to wake up too.

"Were we like sleeping dominoes?" Harrison asks which makes Tom and I laugh.

"Probably." I yawn and sit up, along with Tom. We all get our stuff in our bags and get ready to arrive in London.

We arrive and wait to board off the plane. We get our luggage and walk down the airport through crowds of people. On one side I think I spot Tessa, with mum and dad.

"Tessa!" Tom screams and drops his bags. I pull out my phone to record this moment.

Tom runs over to Tessa and falls down, to pick up the frantic dog. He pets her and she licks him as I laugh so hard. Harrison walks over with Toms stuff and I look up to see the boys.

"ALEXA!" Paddy screams and runs over to me, hugging me as hard as he can. "I've missed you!"

"Me too!" I say and mess up his hair. "I see your feeling better." I smirk and glance up and mum and dad who laugh.

"Yeah wayyyyy better. Sam helped me and now I don't feel sick anymore." Paddy laughs and I roll my eyes.

I walk over to Sam who engulfs me into a giant hug. I hug him back tight. "It's nice to have you back, even though you'll be gone again."

I step back and punch his shoulder. "Wow your so supportive. I love it." I chuckle and shake my head.

Harrison meets up with his mum and goes back to his place and we all go back home. It's about ten at night and Paddy fell asleep as soon as we got back. Tom and I unloaded our stuff into our rooms before coming back downstairs.

"Aren't you guys tried." My mum asks and Tom and I walk into the kitchen.

We both shake our heads and answer. "No."

My mum chuckles and puts some stuff away. "The boys are in the living room. They've all missed you." She says.

Tom and I walk out to the living room to find Harry, Sam and dad all sitting on the couches. I sit down next to Sam and Tom sits with Harry and dad. We all talk about what happened when we were gone and I helped Tom explain the press tour.

"Well then Spider-Man, you should get some sleep." My dad smiles as Tom yawns.

"I guess your right. Night guys. See you in the morning." Tom stands up and trudges upstairs to his room.

"Your going on the press tour with him?" My dad asks and looks at me.

I nod. "Yeah, it's really fun to be on set. Did I ever tell you how I met Chris Pratt!?" I smile just remembering this.

"No!" Harry pretty much screams since he's in love with every marvel actor ever.

"I was on set, standing off to the side with Harrison as Tom was filming. And Chris Pratt obviously read my first book so he came over and talked to me
About my photography and books. So I told him I'm almost done the second one and he can't wait." I smile and Harry laughs.

"That's awesome Alexa." Sam says and I lean back. Even though I'll only be here for a few days, it felt good to be back home.
