Dillian?

Before I had the time to read the message I look up and I see a person in my room just plain dead staring at me.

"Who are you?" I question him.

"Im Dillian" he says.

I look at him carefully. He had blonde hair dyed with blue and grey eyes and was slightly taller than me.

I made sure to keep those details in mind , just incase.

"And who are you?" he asks

"Im Jess" I reply.

"I think i'll be uh -leaving now." He says as he climbs out of my window.
Well that was weird. A random ass dude just tried to break into my house. Maybe I should be more careful.

Thinking about Anne I opened her text

Anne: I have a crush on this guy ....

Jess: cool. what's he like?

Anne: His name is Lukas and he is really tall and really cute.

Jess: How old is he?

Anne: to be honest I don't know.

Jess: uhh so he can be like 18 and you don't know?

Anne: umm , Ill just add you a group chat with him.

~Lukas has been added to the group chat~

Lukas: H1

~unknown number has been added~

Jess: Please don't leak my number

Unknown  number : Yeah I type for Lukas here and shut up Jess.

Jess: Shut up?

Unkown number :Yes , please do.

Jess: Well maybe the Lukas guy shouldn't leak my number to everybody.

Unknown number : don't be such a wuss im not telling anybody.

Lukas: hhfjsjjs

Anne : Lol Lukas you're funny. 

Unknown Number: Let me type what Lukas is saying since he's next to me and doesnt know how to use a phone

Lukas: jhhhhhf

Anne: LOL stop Lukas you're too funny lmfao haha

Unknown Number: 'anne and I should meet up today' - lukas

Anne: yeah sure!

Unknown Number: cool when do we meet - lukas

Jess: Can I come along?

 Unknown Number: why would you ? - lukas

 Jess: why not?

Unknown Number: Jess is a mermaid I don't want her here

My heart sinks and it pounds faster. How does he know?

 Jess: the hell?

Anne: lol nice joke lukas

Unknown Number: I'm serious shes a mermaid

Anne: um ok I've never seen her with a tail so probably not true lol :3

In my defence , I am a half mermaid so im not exactly lying. The lie still  made me guilty.

Unknown number : I have pictures. -Lukas

Anne: lukas i know you are good at photoshop.

Jess : Ok so can I come over?

Anne: I dont know Jess..

Lukas: 1dwehdhdb asbhdbd bithdjdh

Anne : Lol Lukas ur killing me.

Jess: Ok so I cant come.. ok Anne..

I put my phone down before doing anything else..

Quickly I get up and change into my comfortable hoodie and jeggings.

I look across the room and pick up my knife and pocket it. Just incase.

I tie my hair up in a tight ponytail.
I never really bothered to learn complicated hairstyles..

I look in the mirror and stare blankly at myself. Am I really worth it? I dont even know what love is and im almost 18. If I fell inlove id have the whole mermaid squad after me to kill me.  Its Not like  half the mermaids dont want to kill me. (They do) It wasnt even 5 minutes till I recieved a message from Anne.

Anne: urgh Lukas got me some soup and it tastes horrible.. can you come over?

I didnt have a good feeling about this Lukas. I had a feeling that his "cooking" wasnt just horrible. I put on my trainers and ran out of the  house. I didnt take so long to arrive at her house. I knocked on the door and Lukas opened the door looking at me and frowning.

"Anne told me to come over." I say, eyeing him.

I soon realise that it was the same person who had broken into my house and lied about his name. He seemed to notice whats on my mind but ignores it.
He scams me from top to bottom and then he moves aside for me still seeming angry I came. 

I go to see  Anne in her room.
"I feel kind of ,sick" she told me

"Its ok" I told her "things will be better"

Lukas comes in the room and he sits next to Anne grabbing her hand. Suddenly he looks at me seriously.

"Tell her." He growls.

"Tell her what?"

"The truth."

I looked at him blankly but  I knew exactly what he ment

"OWW LUKAS!" Anne screams in pain and Lukas looks at me. Clearly he was squeezing her hand really tightly.

Suddenly I hear a "crack" and Anne's screams get louder.  In panic I make a ball of water and threw it at him but missed him by inches. For a second it looked ad if  he was scared of me and he let go of her hand.

He ran out of the room and out of the house. Anne was crying with pain.

Suddenly I felt dizzy. I couldnt see anything.
