Renée's grandmother had gone for a regular health checkup when she was diagnosed with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm(AAA). Apparently, there were two types of AAA's and she had the smaller ones and so, the doctors suggested to not do anything about it and come for regular checkups to monitor it. Basically, it was a ticking time bomb of uncertainty, a bomb that had shaken everybody completely. They said her blood pressure was one of the factors and that she had to rest more often.
It was bewildering for Renée, she never would have thought that this thick old lady who was her Superwoman would be diagnosed with anything at all. This was the same woman who had kicked the hell out of the kids who kept sending her notes of how she was pathetic and fat. It was the same woman who had single-handedly carpented her woodworking class project while Renée she was sick.
It was shocking, to say the least.
Heartbreaking, to say the most.
