CALISTA 'CALI' DE VRIES was what most people would call a heartbreaker. Cali wasn't one to be in a relationship too long. She was a free teenager, who didn't tend to cling on a boyfriend for too long. The endings were all the same. Taking what she could and leaving the scene with a pink lipstick stain on her exes' cheeks. It was the consistency of her breakups for quite some time. No boy wanted to suffer like the others, but they ended up suffering the same fate. For Cali was able to convince them to be in a relationship with her, from the words that came out of her pink lips.
NO MORTAL KNEW IT THEN, and they didn't know it now. But Calista was a demigod. And truly a heartbreaker. Claimed by the goddess Venus, Cali had been trained by Lupa in the Wolf House and had fully made herself apart of the Legion in Camp Jupiter. So it was to no surprise as to how she was able to convince people to do what she wanted. Cali was a charmspeaker and a somewhat powerful one too. She had become the Centurion of the Second Cohort, one of the best elite demigods that were to represent Venus. The teenage girl has been a wonder to many of her fellow colleagues and a wonder to the gods themselves.
FOR SHE IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT in the eyes of others. She seeks out mischief and danger, wanting to have a thrilling life of adventure due to the fact that she can barely go on any quests herself. Cali is a wild one. A demigod who seeks the thrill and craves the danger and to break the hearts of teenage boys and take what she can. But when she crosses path with a teenage boy named Leo Valdez, all of that changes. For not only does she want to break his heart and take what she wants. But she slowly ends up falling in love with him instead. She wants his lips to be the first ones that come in contact with her pink lips. But love always comes with a price. Especially if you have broken hearts before.

━━━ cali has been known around the camp as one who breaks hearts and takes possessions from boys (usually money or expensive things) she doesn't do anything bad to the camp, but mostly towards mortal boys
━━━ she always loves to flirt with boys and leaves them with a pink lipstick stain on their cheeks (her "branding" mark). the teenage girl has been warned not to do such deeds for it could cost her such trouble, yet cali doesn't heed these warnings at all; causing for her mother Venus to curse the girl behind her back
━━━ although cali has dated countless of boys, she has never truly "kissed" them (on the lips) for the more she remains in a relationship with one boy she realizes that they aren't the one meant for her
━━━ taking place in the mark of athena, cali returns back from one of her quests only to come to see that a big ship (agro ii) is up above her camp. the teenage girl climbs aboard the ship to see a cute latino boy on the ship
━━━ all of the chaos ends up happening, and reyna secretly allows cali to go abroad the ship due to the fact that she wants someone to give intel about the greek demigods that are aboard the ship (so she's lowkey a spy)
━━━ cali comes to know more about the latino boy, who is revealed to be leo valdez. She sees him as another victim in her clutches that she would be able to break his heart and take what she wants. but the more the plan is sent into her mind, the more it is diminishing as cali slowly starts to realize that leo is different from the other boys that she has encountered and full of something else
━━━ cali doesn't know it then, but her mother has cursed her that once she finds a boy that she truly loves that cali could never be with him. after all of the torment that she caused on the mortal boys, from breaking their hearts
━━━ cali comes to realize that there indeed are some good boys out there, and she wants Leo to be the first one to kiss her on the lips. the teenage boy has feelings for her as well, but they aren't as strong as cali's (who actually wants to be in a relationship with him)
━━━ reyna ends up calling for cali to come back to camp jupiter so that she can help the other roman demigods train and prepare for the fight that is to come later on. but before cali leaves, she kisses leo out of nowhere hoping that he would eventually return the same feelings that she has for him
━━━ during that moment, cali doesn't know it but leo has been sent to a distant island to cross paths with his new lover (calypso) and how his feelings have somewhat left for liking cali
━━━ time moves forward to the book of blood of olympus where cali is on the battlefield and she sees leo, the teenage girl goes up to talk to him; but when he mentions the name calypso, cali realizes that he has found another girl
━━━ during cali's moment of battling against the enemies of gaea, the teenage girl calls a prayer upon venus; realizing that the doings that she did in the past were wrong. cali ends up dying in battle, but before she looks up to see leo on his dragon flying up into the sky. A small smile etches on her face as she realizes what it was like to have a broken heart
━━━ but she was glad that her first kiss was with him
