       JOELLA HUNTERS IS BELLONA. A vigilante in the streets of Queens, fighting crime and beating up bad guys is the alter ego of this blonde chick. Being tough should be her middle name. A rowdy girl by day and a kickass vigilante by night. Her life just couldn't get better.

       PETER PARKER IS SPIDER-MAN. A new vigilante that has come to Queens with powers that are a major step up from Bellona alone. He's determined to be a superhero and follow in the footsteps of one of his favourite Avengers―Iron Man. Only Bellona is in his way from getting so far.

       THEY'RE HURTING EACH OTHER. Wanting to be the sole defender of Queens, Spider-Man and Bellona are at each other's throats, fighting for every chance to be the champion. Only what they weren't expecting was that they'd be teamed up for the same assignment at school.

‌ ━━━ joella is already a vigilante in queens prior to peter parker getting his powers. her alter ego is bellona (the roman goddess of war) she has no powers whatsoever but is extremely skilled in hand to hand combat and martial arts.

‌ ━━━ her father works with the vulture as a weapons creator. thus, the reason as to why joella is supplied with so many weapons when she becomes bellona. her father is oblivious to the matter that she's bellona, mostly because he spends his night working at the warehouses making new weapon designs

━━━ joella knows that her father works in this industry, she's been struggling to report him to the authorities (mainly because he's her dad) and is hoping that one day she'll gain the courage to do so. but as bellona, she manages to stop the vulture from shipping the weapons off to other places

━━━ bellona encounters spider-man when a crime alert went off and sees him trying to become a superhero. she gets extremely pissed that another hero is in queens and mocks him for trying to be a hero like she is, explaining that this is a job for her alone

‌ ━━━ it's pretty much just going to become this whole thing where peter is still desperate to be a hero and ends up bickering with bellona every time the two end up in each other's paths when a crime is going on. think like an old married couple, but they hate each other's guts with a burning passion

━━━ peter and joella are in the same english class and are gonna be partners for a project that relates about superheros. which is bad enough since they're always bickering about their alter egos and now they both have to spend working together for school while they have to go and save the queens

‌ ━━━ you can make so much comedy with the reasons why peter and joella are explaing to their teacher that they've been terrible partners for their project since peter loves spider-man but joella wants their project to be about bellona. which is only going to cause for them to explain to each other why they're so busy

━━━ this relationship is purely slowburn. you can make this continue into infinity war & endgame but for this book it's mostly about peter and joella actually becoming friends and finding each other's identity. not to mention peter's going to be that support when the stop the vulture and joella's dad. and their amazing partner skills!
