~Y/N's Pov~

I'm in my room one minute and the next I'm in a fictional world with fictional people! How does my life even do this kind of stuff?!

I look around the room, everyone pointing a weapon at me. I take a slow glance at every person. Allura, Coran, Shiro, Lance, Keith, Hunk, and Pidge. Everyone's here. While I was looking at all of them, I didn't even notice that Shiro asked me a question. 

"What's your name?"

"Uh, Y/N. I'm from earth."

Everyone but Keith lowers their weapon. Typical. Moody, emo, and not an easy nut to crack. 

"How did you get here?"

"I'm not really sure actually, I was in my room and then I wasn't. Where are we exactly?"

Shiro smiles a bit, putting his hand out for me to shake. "Well, that's a bit hard to explain. Before we get into that, let us introduce ourselves. I'm Shiro. Over there is Hunk, Pidge, Keith, La-"

"Lance, the most beautiful human being on this ship!" 

Shiro just gives him a 'dad' look before continuing, "That is Coran and the woman over there is Princess Allura."

Honestly, I don't need a roll call for everyone.  I've been watching this show nonstop since it came out. I know every main character and side character by heart. You could honestly show me a frame of the show and I'd probably know the background person's name. It's kind of sad. 

My train of thought was broken by Lance, "Wait, we're missing somebody! Where's Zane?"

"Right here!" A girl steps out from the door, now entering the main room with everyone else. Her mocha skin and dark, curly hair make her stand out from most everyone here. Her eyes are the largest I've seen on this show. She also has markings on her top portion of her body signaling she's not Altean or human.  

To be honest I've never seen a character resembling Zane. She's so different from anybody on this show. Even her voice doesn't sound familiar! If I didn't know better I'd say she's just like me, from my world. 

Shiro looks towards her. "Zane, meet-"

"Y/N, I heard." She sticks out her hand for me to shake. "Nice to meet ya kid, how ya doin?"

I slowly take her hand and shake it. Her smile grows as she keeps a tight grip on my hand, dragging me out of the room.

"I'll bring them back, don't worry! I'm just getting a change of clothes, okay?" 

Before anyone could even protest, the door closed behind us. She drags me in silence. As she pulls me away, I kind of notice how pretty she looks. NO! Snap yourself out of that, this is not the time to be fantasizing about a person you don't even know about! 

"Hey! You here?"

I snap out of my trance, nodding to a question I didn't even hear. She shoves me into a room with a turquoise light above it. When the door shuts, she shoves me on the bed to sit.

"Woah, settle yourself, lady! We just met!" I joke. She rolls her eyes and sits on the floor in front of me. She stares at me in silence for a long time before perking up.
