Ice Cream and Egg Head (Ch 5)

*Kris' POV*

It has been one week since Matt got hurt, one week since I left this hospital room. I sat next to Matt holding his hand. "

Matt please wake up, I miss you" I say. I start sobbing when I feel him squeeze my hand. My head bolts up and I stop crying.

"Kris? Are you ok?" dad said.

"H-He sq-sqeezed my hand" I say,"Matt if you can hear me sqeeze my hand." He squeezes my hand again.

"Dad I think he's waking up" I say and Sam goes to get the doctor.

"Kris?" I hear a faint voice say. I look at Matt and see him opening his eyes.

"Matty!" I yell hugging him.

"Ow my head hurts" he says, "What happened?"

"You and Kris were racing on your penny boards when you tripped on a rock and hit your head, you've been in a coma for a week" Dad said.

"Where are the others?" Matt asked.

"Sam went to get the doctor, the others went to get something to eat" I say

"Matthew your awake" a doctor comes in, "How are you feeling?" he asks.

"My head hurts, other than that I'm fine" Matt answered. The doctor gives him some pain medicine. A few minutes later everyone comes back. Then the doctor comes in telling us we can leave

It's late at night so we are all tired. We get home and Matt and I go to our room.

"Night Matt I'm glad you're ok" I say yawning.

"Night Kris I'm glad too" he says and we go to bed.

//Next Morning\\

I wake up and Matt is in the shower.

"Matt! Hurry up!" I yell.

"Ok!" I hear him yell back. Several minutes later he comes out.

"Finally" I say walking in the bathroom.

"Morning to you too sis" he says. I finish my shower and I get dressed in sweats and a tank top and a Luke Hemmings sweatshirt.

I walk downstairs and walk into the kitchen.

"Morning Kris!" Dad says.

"Morning" I say making a piece of toast.

"Kris is everything ok?" he asks.

"Uh...Girl things" Is all I say and I think he gets the message.

"Do you need anything?"

"Um...you know what to get right?" I say.

"Yep" he says walking into the living room. I follow him while I eat my toast.

"Hey guys I'm going to go to the store to get some things" Dad says.

"What kind of things?" Connor asks.

"Things for me" I say. Matt whispers something to them and they all know now.

"Matt can you come here real quick?" I say, he walks over to me and I punch him in the arm.

"Owww! What the heck!" he says rubbing his arm.

"My body functions are my own business" I say.

We watch tv and dad gets back.

"Well that was embarrassing" he says and everyone laughs. "Heres you stuff Kris and a little extra something" he said handing me a bag. I look in and find my stuff, my favorite ice cream Mint Chocolate, and my favorite candy Reeses.

"Thank you!" I say hugging him.

"You're welcome" he says hugging me back.

"Oh and our friends are coming today since what happened last time they were going to come" dad said.

"Ok I will be in my room" I say walking upstairs. I sit on my bed, grab my laptop and turn on Netflix. I eat my ice cream while watching Mythbusters. What? I love that show it funny, and I kinda like science ( A/N True Fact I love mythbusters)

I was watching a part where they were about to blow up a cement truck (A/N 1 of my fave episodes) when I'm interrupted by two girls coming upstairs.

"Uh hi" I say.

"Hi I'm Jenn and this is Andrea, Kians girlfriend" The blond one said.

"Hi I'm Kris, I'm guessing the guys told you whats up with me today" I say.

"Yep!" they say. We hang out for a while when two boys run into my room screaming. I jump and look at them.

"Um hello?" I say and they turn around.

"Oh, Hi im Jack and this is Anthony" a guy with a beanie says.

"I'm Kris and one question what the heck is going on?"

"Well, we cracked an egg on Jcs head" Anthony said.

I laugh, "Oh my gosh I have to see this"

I open my door and I find dad standing there with egg dripping down his head. I laugh, run into my room and close my door.

"Hide in the bathroom!" I whisper yell to the boys. They hide and I open the door.

"Hi dad! You need a shower" I said pointing to the egg on his head.

"Are Jack and Anthony in here?" he asks.

"Nope!" I say then I hear something fall in the bathroom followed by someone cursing.

Dad opens the door and see Jack on the floor and Anthony holding back laughter.

"If something is going to happen, get out of my room" I say pushing them out of my room. The girls and I resume what we were doing.

An hour later they left and I decide to go to bed. Matt had fallen asleep in the living room so I get my own bed tonight. I lay down not bothering to change and fall asleep.

So about Mythbusters... I love that show, they blow a lot of things up and even though im a girl I think it's cool
