Ladies, gentlemen, and other esteemed guests...

I have won NaNoWriMo!

I actually won yesterday, but I was too hyped and then had to study for a chemistry test that was today (rocked it) and didn't habe the chance to update anyone.

But yeah! My novel isn't even finished (I'm guessing when it is, it'll be ~65k) and definitely needs editing, but those will wait until NaNo's revision months. For now, I can just relax for a bit- as you can see from my progress chart below, things the last week have been crazy.

I do NOT recommend taking an almost two week vacation in the middle of NaNoWriMo. It complicated things very much, but I still pulled off a win!

I'm not gonna lie, writing a 50k word original work sort of just made me realize how much I loce writing Take Back the Light. I miss my girl Alana <3

So, that being said, I will be starting up Take Back the Light updates as soon as possible! It's about to be the end of the semester for me, which means exams for four of my classes and final research papers for two of my college classes, so things are still a mess, but I'm reieved to have finished my NaNo journey (at least for now)!

Man I am exhausted. But NaNo was a great experience that I definitely recommend, and if 50k words in 30 days doesn't sound like your thing, there's Camp NaNoWriMo in both April and July where you set your own word goal. I one hundred percent recommend that. It's especially nice for fanfic writers!

Cyan out!
