THE EFFING POSTER GUYS
Song of the chapter : Infinity by my boys One Direction

"And now I'm one step closer to being two steps far from you"
//

Your footsteps echoed through the dark empty hall of your old apartment, you glanced around the hall making sure that nobody was watching you before you unlocked the door with the key you kept after a year of disappearing.

You slipped into your old apartment, it still smelled the same, the lavender scent reeked through your nostril as you walked around the apartment, going to your old bedroom. Your heart clenched as soon as you stepped into your room, it was exactly the same, it was still clean, everything was in its place but there was one other thing on your bed that didn't belong to you.

It was a small blue box, wrapped in a pink ribbon. You strode toward to your bed, sitting on the edge. Grabbing the box, your eyes studied it, looking at the small details of the ribbon, looking at the silver pattern that was printed on it.

"Late birthday present." You read from the small card that was attached to the box, lifting the lid up, the object in the box glistened in the sunlight, reflecting some of the light shimmering like diamonds.

"Peter." You said breathlessly, it felt like somebody took all of the air out of your lungs, trying to suffocate you.

Your grabbed the gold necklace out of the box, you lifted it in front of you studying it like your life depended on it. The rose pendant hung at your eye level, your eyes traveled to the small diamond in the center of the rose. You felt tears welling up your eyes as you stared at it. Just a month before you left, you told Peter that you wanted the necklace for your birthday, you were a bit sad that he didn't have enough money to buy it for you on time but you weren't mad.

Snapping back from your thoughts, you put it back in the box before you put it in your  worn out bag. You went to your uncle's room, placing a block of money down onto his bed. You looked around the apartment, breathing in the scent once again, you knew that you wouldn't be back for another year or so.

"I better leave before he comes back." You talked to yourself before leaving.

Once again, you stepped into the dark hallway, locking the door whilst looking down at your feet, debating whether you should just come back and live a normal life like before.

You have already finished the mission that you've set for yourself after the day your uncle told you the truth. You've killed all of the people who were selfish and let your parents die for no reason. The news have died down two months after you left.

You shook your head, locking the door completely. Coming back would only ruined your life even more.

"Y/n?" You were so deep in your thoughts you didn't hear the footsteps coming from the opposite side of the hall.

"Oh shit." You cursed, pulling your hoodie over your head, pulling the hem down to cover your face even more.

You stepped away from the door, turning your head up a bit to look at the boy who fell for you and you did the same with him.

He stomped toward you, in his hands were bags of sandwiches from Mr. Delmar's store. You tried to pushed past him but he grabbed onto your forearm, pulling you closer to him.

Before he could say anything, you elbowed his chin with all your might, using your other to peeled his grip of your arm and one of your legs to kick him stomach. Peter stumbled back, his back hitting the hard wall not expecting you to react that way.
