Y/N had really had had one hell of a long day and all she needed was a nice, long bath to wash away the stresses of her day. She opened the door to her house and stepped in. She threw her keys and her book bag on the couch and walked up the stairs to her bedroom. She walked into her bathroom and turned on the tap. As the water warmed up, she picked out her pajamas and collected her towel. She walked back into the bathroom, stripped, and stepped under the flow of warm water.

She let out a sigh of content as she let the warm water of the shower wash away the tires of her day. She took a fairly long shower as she found the warm water relaxing. Once the water began to cool down, she knew she needed to step out of the shower. She wrapped the fluffy towel around her body. Y/N knew she was home alone, so she strolled comfortably out of her bedroom and down the stairs to create herself a cup of tea to warm her up. As she walked into the kitchen, she heard someone shout.

"Stop right there." Y/N picked up the nearest knife and turned around to find a man with a mask over his face standing before her. The man was accompanied by two other men who all held guns in their hands.

"Spoiled little brat. Where do you keep all your jewelry?" The man sneered as he took a step closer.

"Take another step and I won't hesitate to stab you." Y/N warned without a waver in her voice. She was terrified inside, but she knew that showing it would not help her situation. The man let out a laugh.

"I'm not sure you know how a gun works, love." Y/N gulped heavily before she took in a deep breath. Before she knew it, she was being snatched up from the ground and carried through the air. The sounds of bullets being shot scared the living daylights out of Y/N and she wrapped her arms around the neck of her hero and clamped her eyes shut. She had tried to be brave, but the terror of being caught in such a scary situation flooded her body.

She was set on the ground of a room on the other side of the house.

"Stay here, I'll be back." Spider-Man stated quickly before slinging away. She stood helplessly in the room as she listened to the commotion. There were a few gunshots before the sounds completely stopped. The commotion stopped and Spider-Man was back as quickly as he had left.

"Are you okay?...oh." The hero awkwardly scratched the back of his neck as took in your attire, or lack there of.

"Oh, my God. I'm so sorry. Just, wasn't expecting to come downstairs and find that I was being robbed." Y/N said.

'Find that I was being robbed.' Really, Y/N? Of everything that you could say, you decided that would be the best thing. Y/N scolded herself.

"Th–"

"Sorr–"

"You go first, no you go first." They interrupted one another.

"Y-you can go first, ladies first." He said.

"Oh I was just going to say thank you, for you know, preventing my death and all. Sorry about the level of awkwardness. This has to be the most awkward situation you've ever been stuck in." Y/N rambled.

"You'd be surprised." He said with an airy laugh. "I was just going to say sorry. I saw them break into the house and I wasn't fast enough. Sorry to put you in danger like that. It's my job to protect this city and I nearly failed you. Almost got a very beautiful girl killed." He muttered the last part of his sentence, but Y/N still managed to hear. Her cheeks flushed and she shifted her weight onto her other foot.

"I'm sure you say that to every girl you save." Y/N muttered.

"N-no. Actually, you're the first person I've ever saved that has thanked me." He mumbled.

"Oh, I'm really sorry." Y/N frowned with guilt.

"I-t's okay, really." He said.

"Well, you have a city to protect, so. Also, I'm pretty sure the cops are on their way, and you don't want to be caught here." Y/N sent him a small smile and he gulped visibly before nodding his head. Y/N walked him to the door.

"Thanks' again." She said.

"Y-yeah, it's no problem. Stay safe, Y/N." He said before swinging away.

Wait, Y/N? How did he knew her name? Y/N's eyes widened considerably as the thoughts came in. She also remembered that she was still just wearing a towel.
