"I'll be at school tomorrow, I promise. Please wait for me." That was the last thing Peter said to (y/n). He said that two years ago when they were both 15. He left without an explanation. (Y/n) went to his apartment but he was also not there. She also asked Aunt May, but she said that she can't tell her.

"I'm so sorry (y/n), I really want to tell you but I can't. I really can't. If I could I would tell you. Peter said that not telling you is the only way to keep his girlfriend safe."

After that week, Aunt May moved out and went to another state. Before she went, she went to (y/n) to tell her that she's leaving.

She cried everyday after Peter disappeared. She didn't understand why Peter would leave her without any explanation, it was to keep her safe. But doesn't he know that this also hurt her.
(Y/n) couldn't sleep or eat, she was too worried about Peter, her one year boyfriend.

After two years of missing Peter, she finally got over him. She could finally sleep and eat properly. Her family was worried about her health but now that she can finally eat, the weight was lifted off their shoulders.

There was a knock on her bedroom door before her mom walked in.

"How are you? Are you feeling better?" She asked.

"I'm definitely doing better than two years ago." (Y/n) answered. After they finished talking, she showered and headed downstairs to eat her breakfast. She ate until she heard something on the TV.

"We finally found out who was under the Spiderman mask. The tragic death of Spiderman has brought many citizens together for the memorial of the boy under the mask. Tony Stark have told us about the tragic news but all he said was quote 'He was a very brave boy, he sacrificed himself to save us all. He was very injured from the fight, he knew that this mission might kill him but that didn't stop him.' We will continued after the commercial break."

(Y/n) stopped eating as soon as she heard about the news. Spider-Man's dead? She though to herself.

Two years ago she met him a few times. Her heart stopped for a second as she heard to news. He was a very nice guy in her opinion, he gave people hope and light. Making sure that everybody in the city is safe.

"And now we're back with the tragic news of Spider-Man's death. Steve Rogers have something to say about how Spiderman died." Then there was a video of Steve speaking into the mic.

"Spiderman saved us all. He saved The Avengers. He used every last bit of his energy to save other people. When we were all unconscious it was Spiderman who helped us out of the abandoned building. He then went back inside to make sure that everybody was outside, but he didn't make it out. He fought the villains all by himself. The villains ganged up on him, he tried his best to fight them off but one of the villains used his high tec weapon and electrocuted his heart. Peter Parker saved us." The video then ended.

(Y/n) dropped the spoon she was holding as she felt tears p rolling down her now pale face.

"Peter's Spiderman?" She mumbled to herself and she fell to the floor, crying hysterically. Her breathing was uneasy as her parent came in and help her. Tears wouldn't stop welling up her eyes as she buried her face into her dad's chest.

"Peter's dead." She repeated that sentence a couple of times as she continued to cry. Her body was shaking so hard she felt like it was falling apart. She was falling apart.

"His funeral will be held in a week after they set everything up, his friends and relatives will be invited."

The girl on the Tv continued to talk about him and the details of the funeral.

(Y/n) then run up into her bedroom tripping a couple of times. She collapsed onto her bed as she buried her head into the fluffy pillow.

* A week later at the funeral *

"(Y/N)?"

"Hey Aunt May," she said as she wiped her tears off her pink cheeks.

"Come here." Aunt May said as she pulled her into a hug. They both cried into each other's arm.

"Why didn't he tell me?" (Y/N) cried.

"He was trying to protect you."

"He should've at least give me a heads up that he's leaving." They both pulled away then Aunt May reached into her jacket and brought out a note.

"This is for you." She said and hugged (Y/n) one more time before she left. (Y/n) unfolded the note.

Hey (Y/n), if you're reading this I'm either dead or you're just reading this to make fun of me for being so negative about my future. So the reason why I wrote this note for you is because I didn't want to see your face when I tell you that I have to leave for a year or many more, I'm not sure. I can't standing seeing you hurt and break in front of me. By now you should probably know that I'm Spiderman, and again the reason why I didn't tell you is because I didn't want to hurt you.

I don't know what the future holds for me, or for us. I don't know if you're going to forgive me, wish I really hope you do. But just so you know, I love you you're my everything. I'll do anything to save you. So I have to go on a mission to help the Avengers, is a very big mission Tony needed every hero he could find to help this world. Some of us might not make it alive, which means that I might die. If I said no to this mission that would make me a very selfish person, I just have to help. I have to. Ir was one of the most difficult decisions I made, I have to leave Aunt May and you the love of my life. And if I did die, please don't forget about me.

I will never forget you, she thought to herself. She stood in front of his grave and cried some more as people started to leave.

"You really love him." She heard a familiar voice. She turned and saw Tony. She nodded as looked at his grave again.

"He was like my son, too bad we couldn't save him. He saved everybody but nobody could save him." Tony said before he left.

(Y/N) continued to stand there, tears still rolling down her cheeks.

I'm still waiting for you, Peter
