Chapter 34

_Brooke's POV_

I wake up to voices. Everyone is in the room, and the pain in my hip is gone.

Hayes looks over at me and sees me awake.

"Hey babe, how do you feel?"

"Fine now. Just really drowsy."

"Then you should get some sleep." Julia said.

"But I just woke up!"

"She's right. You need to get some sleep and let that drowsiness wear off. But you can go home." The doctor said.

"Good! But, what happened to my hip?"

"You had a crack in it. It looks like its been there for about 3 years, but started to affect as you grow. But don't worry, it's fixed now."

"Okay thanks!"

We all get in the car and drive to the hotel, or so I thought. We pull up to a beach house.

"What are we doing here?" I ask.

"Instead of staying in a hotel, Bart rented this beach house for us!" Aaron said.

"Awesome! But I'm tired guys, I'm going to bed. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." All the guys said.

Hayes shows me the room I am staying in.

"I guess I'm sharing with you?"

"Of course!"

Hayes picks me up bridal style and throws me on the bed. We laugh and then Hayes gets in bed and puts the covers on us.

"Promise me, no more hospitals." Hayes said. I giggle.

"I promise!"

"Good, now get some sleep."

I sit there in bed and finally fall asleep after 20 minutes. That night, I had a strange dream, one I've never had before.

I'm at my house. Julia, Hayes, and Alex are there. Someone walks into my house, but I don't recognize who it is. But I have a feeling I know them.

"Get away from Brooke." The voice says, pointing to Hayes.

"No, she's my girlfriend and who are you?" Hayes says.

"Because she was mine first."

The person runs to Hayes and punches him in the face. Then, I see who it is. Nick, one of my ex-boyfriends.

"Nick! Hayes! Stop it!" I scream.

Julia and Alex run off somewhere, and don't come back.

Nick keeps punching Hayes and then before I know it, Nick runs up to me and kisses me. I don't kiss back. He pushes me against the wall.

"I miss you."

"Well I clearly don't miss you." I say.

"Hayes isn't right for you, I am."

"You're the only who dumped me!"

"But I regret it all."

"No. You're not. Get out of my house."

Nick runs out and Hayes gets up and looks at me. Heartbroken.

"Hayes, I didn't kiss back. I hate him so mu-."

"I saw what I saw." Hayes starts to walk away.

"Hayes, please don't. It was a mistake Hayes no. Please."

He ignores me and keeps walking.

"HAYES PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!"

I fall on the floor and start sobbing.

"Hayes, come back."

And the dream ended.

_Hayes' POV_

I'm in bed with Brooke, and I fall asleep instantly.

I wake up to Brooke talking.

"Get out of my house." Brooke mumbles.

"What do you mean?" I say. Then I realize, she's sleep talking.

It's cute at first, then she starts yelling.

"Hayes, please don't."

"It was a mistake."

"Listen to me!"

I wonder what she was dreaming about.

She starts crying in her sleep and I don't know what to do.

"Hayes, come back."

I shake Brooke and she gasps.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just a dream."

"You were yelling and crying."

"I was? What was I saying?"

"'Get out of my house', 'Hayes, please don't.', 'It was a mistake.', 'Listen to me!' Then, you started crying."

"Oh, yeah, just a dream."

"What happened?"

"Well, I was with you, Julia, and Alex. Nick came in and beat you up then kissed me. And I said to stop and get out and then you thought I kissed him and I tried to deny it. You didn't believe me and you left me there."

"Babe, you know I would never do that. Ever."

"I know. That's why I love you." She smiles.

"Now there's the Brooke smile I love!" That makes her smile and me smile.

I check the time. 4:37 am.

I went on the usual apps. Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Mobil. I look over and see Brooke fast asleep on my shoulder. I rest my head on the pillow and slip into a deep sleep.

The next day, I wake up with Brooke not there. I go downstairs and see Cameron, Nash, Julia, and Brooke making breakfast and it being an all time fail.

"Julia! You suck at making eggs!" Cameron said.

"I know I know! Brooke! The pancakes are burning!" Julia said.

"Oh shit! Hey Hayes! Help me!" Brooke screams. I run over and try to help. I'm not the best cooker, along with these hooligans.

"Can't we just order breakfast pizza?" I say.

"YES YES YES!" Brooke and Julia scream.

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT." Alex said, stomping down the stairs.

"We were just-."

"I am Alex Steele. I need my beauty sleep. Shut up, or I will hurt all of you." Alex walked back upstairs.

"Someone's on their period!" Brooke yelled.

Everyone came downstairs. Then we ordered our breakfast pizza.

We waited 15 minutes then the door bell rang. I grab the money and open the door.

I can't believe who was there.

I dropped the money and ran upstairs.

Cliffhanger! I love doing that. I can't update tomorrow because I have a game then after that we are going to eat so I will be home late. But I have to get my bottom braces Wednesday do I will write during the car ride! Night. 🌻
