_Brooke's POV_

I couldn't sleep at all. I keep thinking about Julia. Where she is, how she's doing, if she's okay.

3:04 am. Ugh.

I get a text message from an unknown number. Not this again. Then, I read it..

Unknown: Hey this is Julia. My phone broke because I dropped it so this is my number. First of all, why would you think of cutting?! Don't you ever listen to what I tell you? And I forgive you. But, do you hate me?

I reply immediately.

Oh my god. Thank god you're okay. Because I was upset you weren't here! And no, I don't hate you, I never did. I just got mad in the moment and anything I said, I didn't mean. I'm truly sorry. Can you come back?

Julia Mendes 😇: I kinda can't...

Why not?

Julia Mendes 😇: Brooke, I went home. I've been bullied on twitter so much and what you said, broke me. I'm not going back to LA. Or Magcon, for a while. Don't tell anyone I'm texting you at all. Or everyone will come here and I don't want that. Just tell Shawn, and say that same thing.

No! You can't take a break from Magcon! Bart wants to make us official members!

Julia Mendes 😇: I'm sorry, I just can't deal with it anymore. I gotta go,

I'll talk to you soon.

Okay bye.

I am so relieved that Julia is okay. I fall asleep as soon as I answer the message.

Today, Hayes comes home from the hospital. Nash said he's gaining memory back. He knows who Julia and I are and he has a crush on me.

I'm happy about that, but Matt? How will he react?

All the guys and I go down to the hospital to get Hayes.

"Hey Brooke! Hey guys!"

"Hi Hayes!" We say.

Maybe this is a good thing that this happened. Hayes seems like a happier person in general, and we can get rid of all the bad, make it just good.

"Wait, where's Julia?" Hayes asks.

I almost cry just at her name. And Shawn, well, he just started sobbing on the spot.

"Huh? I'm confu-."

"We will talk about it privately." I say. Hayes nods in agreement.

"Hey, what did you do to your arm?" Cameron says as he and everyone else looks at my wrapped arm. Shit.

"I uh- was cutting fruit last night and I cut my arm. I was making a snack."

Let's hope this works.

"Oh, well be careful next time!" Matt says.

Phew.

We drive to the hotel and decide to go swimming. Shawn didn't come, he's so upset he doesn't want to do anything, so Aaron stayed with him. I can't swim, because of my arm. But I change into a bathing suit anyway.

"Brooke, you ready?" Hayes asks.

"I can't swim, I'll get my arm wet."

"I'll carry you. Hop on!"

"Okay!" I jump on Hayes' back.

"You're a feather!"

"Haha, you're funny. If anything, I'm a elephant."

"We will see about that, GUYS. GET IN A LINE."

"For what?" Taylor asks.

"Brooke says she's an elephant so we are going to see if she is-."

"Or nah." Nash said.

First, Hayes picks me up, then passes me to Cameron, then Nash, Carter, Jack J, Jack G, Matt, Jacob, and finally Taylor.

"Results?" Carter asks.

"BROOKE IS A FEATHER!" They all scream, causing me to laugh.

I may seem like I'm having a good time, but it's killing with a hole in my heart.

I miss Julia.

Short, I know. But it's better to update late than never! I have another game tomorrow plus I get spacers in for my bottom braces..😒
