You look at her, and I look at you
I think to myself, "if only you knew"
How I think of you every single day
But you're too busy to even look my wayI normally pass you by on my way out
Always wondering what you're thinking about
I know it's her that's on your mind
But towards me; your heart is blindYou're on my mind day in and day out
But sometimes I feel like I just wanna shout
Because you can't see how my heart feels
How every time you're here, it does cartwheelsBut you'll never notice because you're staring at her face
Your gaze following her all around the place
The way she makes you feel is what you do to me
But unfortunately for us, the other side will never seeI gave up the hope that you'll ever look my way
I see you die inside when you can't find words to say
But love hurts when it's unreciprocated or returned
It even hurts more when all what you wrote gets burnedWhen you finally realize that's she's not for you
You'll come to me, to help pull you through
But I would've moved on, and found myself instead
And you'll just be a memory, deep inside my head
