A/N: This poem is one of the hardest poems to write for me. I was supposed to write it about myself, as it's supposed to teach me self love and admiration. After a few hours I finally put this together.

I sat infront of a mirror; on a journey to find myself
I took my insecurities and neatly put them on a shelfI stared so hard, til I lost touch with reality
I just looked into her eyes; surprised by her hospitalityBeneath her skin, I saw agony, grief and pain
I saw remorse, attached to her heart like a stainI saw tears; for every time she was pushed to the curb
But she still gets up, claiming everything is superb!Beneath her fears, I see strength and power
And glory that, with each step, showersInstead of darkness I see a glow, not faint, but a strong light
That reflects her kindness and heart; pure and whiteShe's the type of person who always cares a lot
Doesn't care if it breaks her, well at least she foughtShe's the type of girl that would listen to your every word
And every detail in between, don't worry, she heardShe's the type to feel your inner most pain
And she'll make sure your tears are not in vainShe's a tough soldier; a girl who would fight
But only for the things that are moral and rightA girl, so innocent and angelic but a warrior as well
Who, with one word, could turn your life into a living hellShe won't fight for a space in anyone's life
But once you're in hers; she'll defend you, with a sword or knifeShe'll fight for you, up until her very last breath
Because her love kindness can only be stopped by deathDespite all that, she has a sensitive side buried deep inside
If she saw you cry, she'll join en suit til all your tears driedA fighter, a soldier, a pure angel, all in one
I want to be that person til my days are doneThen it hit me, the thing that I could never see,
That person I saw in her eyes; well that person is me-The_Outkast
