December 31st, 2031
11:59pm
10 seconds until 2032

"Ten, nine, eight," everyone was gathered at Sal's house, even Angie, (we made up) and we were counting down until 2032. Sal was sitting on the couch with a beer while I had a glass filled with "wine." It wasn't actually alcohol. I mean I can't drink it for the next nine months. Yup, I'm pregnant and I'm telling Sal when it hits the new year. "Seven, six, five," everyone continued to count and I started to get nervous. How was I going to tell him? God, I should've figured this out before today. Sal stood up and made his way to me. He was standing right in front of me and I could smell the beer on his breath. "Four, three, two, one, Happy New Year!" We all yelled. Sal leaned in, grabbed my hands, and kissed me with a lot of passion. Once he pulled away I leaned my forehead against his and said, "Sal, I'm pregnant." He pulled back a little and smiled like a kid, "Really?" I nodded and my eyes filled with tears because of how happy he was. Joe noticed this and quickly asked, "Haley whats wrong?" I shook my head and smiled hugely, "Absolutely nothing, Joey. I'm just so happy that Sal is happy." Joe scrunched his eyebrows in confusion and Sal and I looked at each other. We both nodded and I loudly said, "Guys shut up. Sal and I have something to tell you." Rose looked at me and laughed, "We already know you're getting married." Everyone else laughed and Sal and I sighed. We both then said at the same time, "We're pregnant." Everyone was silent for a minute and then cheered. They all hugged me and Sal congratulating us.

We all smiled and then the door knocked. I quickly walked to get it remembering I invited a little friend. I opened it and stepped out. "Derek!" I exclaimed happily. "Haley!" Derek was an old time friend and I wanted to hook him up with Angie. He's an adorable Hispanic guy, strong built, dark skinned, brown eyes, black hair, tall, and his hair is perfect. It's slick back, but he has a few pieces hanging over his forehead. From what I remember he was the biggest bookworm in school and is a fantastic listener. He listened to a lot of my problems and he cuddles a lot. He's extremely quiet and loves to write. He also loves watching sunsets and movies. "How are you?" I asked while hugging him. "I'm great. How about you? Are you still with Shane? What happened to your leg?" I shook my head and he sighed in relief. "I'm fine. I was in the hospital." I held his hand in my left one and smiled, "You haven't changed a bit." He chuckled and looked down at my hand, "You married?" I smiled to myself and shook my head again, "No, I'm engaged to Salvatore Vulcano. He's also the father of my fifteen-year daughter, Jenna." He tilted his head and was silent for a minute. "You've been engaged for how long?" "Since December 23rd. He proposed to me while I was in the hospital." Concerned filled Derek's eyes and he put a hand on my shoulder, "Why were you in the hospital? Why did he only just propose?" I laughed and sat on the steps. He sat next to me and I put an arm around him.

"I left Sal fifteen years ago because I needed a job and house to live where it wasn't expensive. I was pregnant with his child when I left and I only came back the 23rd because Jenna wanted to see the Impractical Jokers also know as a TV show that I used to love a lot. I brought her here to find them and ended up running into Sal. We got into a huge blowout and then his friend Joe told me that he married one of my best friends. I stormed off to my truck and got in a wreck. Luckily it wasn't anything severe. Sal then came to the hospital and left his ex-wife. She told him to be with me because he was happy with me. He then had a long speech and proposed. I then came home later that day and been resting since. Oh, and earlier yesterday, I found out I was pregnant and now here were are in 2032." Derek hugged me tightly and smiled, "Congratulations on your new addition." I smiled and thanked him. I then stood up and pulled him up, "It's time you meet Angie." He nodded and I opened the door. Derek closed it behind him and I told him to take off his shoes. He followed me up the stairs and I saw Sal staring at us. I looked at the couch and found Angie looking gloomy. I walked to her and she looked over at me. I smiled slightly and she stood up. We hugged and then I smiled bigger. Derek was standing off to the side and I said to Ang, "I have someone you should meet." I then pulled Derek in front of me and they shook hands. "Derek, this is Angie. Angie this is Derek." They smiled at each other and started talking. I smiled even bigger to myself and went to sit with Sal. He was sitting back in his spot with another beer. I took it from him and sat on his lap. I leaned up against him and he put his chin on my shoulder. I felt him put his hands on my stomach and I closed my eyes. "I know you're hardly a speck, but I love you already little baby." I opened my eyes with tears and faced Sal. He smiled and kissed me again. "How long have you known?" I murmured, "I found out early yesterday morning after throwing up." Sal nodded one and then pointed his head towards Derek, "Who's he?" "That's Derek. He's an old time friend of mine. I figured he and Angie could go out." Sal hugged my shoulders and with a warm smile he said, "You're such a great person." I smirked and stated, "I know." He scoffed and hit me lightly. I hit him back and then handed him his beer.
