Quick question: Why is Pennsylvania such a shitty state? Why can't I live in New York or Australia? Like literally there is nothing to do here...holy shit I wish I could drive already.
Q's POV
I was the one to notice that Haley blacked out. I quickly ran to get a nurse and once I found one, I pulled her behind me. "Excuse me, sir, what's going on?" I quickly glanced at her and quickly explained, "My friend blacked out!" The nurse's eyes went wide and she quickly yelled for others to come with us. Once we entered the room, everything was tense. Sal and Bessy were desperately trying to get Haley to wake up, but it's like she was dead. I looked towards the heart monitor and saw her heartbeat was slowing down. "The baby is killing her! Get it out!" A nurse yelled to one of the doctors. I pulled Sal back while Rose pulled Bessy back. "How can it be killing her? It's hardly a speck," Kerri commented. Once nurse turned to her and explained, "Just because it's hardly expect doesn't mean it can't kill her. They have to share blood now and since she lost so much, she is weaker and won't be able to carry the child. The child will use more blood, so we have to get it out."
"How are you going to find it?" I asked. The nurse gave me a tight smile and said, "That's the hard part. If we do mange to find this child though, Haley will have an seventy percent chance of living." Sal quickly walked over and quietly said, "So there's a thirty percent chance of her not living?" The nurse nodded and left me and Sal standing in the quiet. I heard Sal's breathing become shallow and I faced him. I placed my hands on his shoulders and shook him. "Sal, she will live. She's a fighter. She'll fight to live because she has you." Sal looked at me and nodded. I gave him a pat on the back and made him sit down in a chair.
A few nurses finally got Haley to wake up long enough to tell her what they were going to do. She weakly protested, "You can't kill my baby. Not this time." The nurse had tears in her eyes and I thought that was weird. "I'm sorry Haley, but if you want to survive we have to." Tears fell down her face and she grabbed the nurse's hand, "Sarah please. Don't do this. I'll never forgive you if you take this child away from me." So that was Haley's cousin. I thought she was out of town, but maybe she came back. "Haley, how would my mother feel that she lost her favorite relative? How would Sal feel? How would your parents feel?" Sarah questioned. More tears fell out of Haley's eyes and I walked over to her. Haley's eyes were red and I took her left hand in mine. "Hey, you know you can always make another baby when you have more blood in your system and aren't injured."
Haley looked at me with fresh tears and shook her head, "It's not the same, but it is the same Q. You'll figured it out soon enough." I was confused and saw the frightened look on her face. "Does it have to deal with Shane?" I whispered. She nodded and the nurses put an oxygen mask on Haley's face. They then put a needle in her arm to make her pass out. They rolled her out of the room and I sat on the ground. How isn't this the same? I know that she was raped by Shane, but not by Sal. Sal and Haley made a baby by love, but what does Shane have to do with it? Wait, Shane raped her. She got pregnant by him. She had to lose her child, but how? She said it's the same, but not the same. Oh shit. She got pregnant by being raped and lost her child the same way she's going to lose this one. "Fuck!" I yelled.
Everyone jumped and Sal looked down at me. "Haley was pregnant before! She had to lose her child the same way she's going to lose this one! She said it was the same, but it wasn't the same. I bet she didn't want to lose this child, but she wanted to lose the other one because she was raped and the child wasn't made from love. Haley's depressed, right?" Kerri, Bessy, and Rose nodded, and I continued, "So what if she tried to commit suicide, or cut herself bad enough to get into a hospital and lose a lot of blood? That's how she lost her other child. This is the second time that she'll miscarry." Angie and Murr looked at me with interest while everyone else thought about what I said. "She never told us she was pregnant though," Bessy mumbled.
"Maybe she was too torn to tell anyone. She did tell you that she ended up in the hospital many times though," I suggested. Bessy nodded and smiled towards me. Sal stood up from his chair and I could see anger flash through his eyes. "I'll kill that bastard. He deserves to die. He hurt the best thing that could've ever happen to him." Murr and Rose looked at each other with fear. Rose then stepped towards Sal and said, "You'll be thrown in jail and kicked off Impractical Jokers. Are you sure that's a good idea?" Sal bit his lip and gulped, "It'll give me peace at mind."
"Murdering someone will give you peace?" Joe asked, "Sal do you want to get arrested? You're supposed to be a role model, not getting into trouble." Sal quickly shook his head and took short steps over to Joe. "My job is to make you guys and people laugh, that's it. That's the only job we have." Murr, Joe, and I stared at Sal like he was nuts. "So what you're saying is that you don't care if people follow in your footsteps? Little kids watch the show for Christ sakes!" Sal quickly put his hands up and gave a humorless laugh. He rubbed his eyes and crossed his arms across his chest, "I didn't say that. You're putting words in my mouth. I don't expect them to follow my footsteps. I literally just said the truth. You guys hate when any of us lie, so why should I start?" Kerri looked awkward, but then stood next to Sal. "He's right. That's all you guys are supposed to do. I'm not saying this because he's dating my best friend, I'm saying this because you need to hear it from a fan." Sal gave Kerri a side hug and Angie agreed with Kerri. After that conversation everything was quiet.
Five hours later
8:50am
The only ones awake were Sal, Joe, and me. We all couldn't sleep without knowing if Haley was okay. I heard the door open and looked up to see Sal carrying Snapple tea. I smiled and he handed Joe and me one. We thanked him and he said it was nothing. I could tell Sal was tired because he could hardly hold himself up. I made him sit in the chair and he protested. I raised my eyebrow at him and he fell quiet. That's when the door opened again.
(Guys I'm really tired, so I'm not writing another chapter. Also lately my headaches that I get everyday are getting more painful, especially at night. I'll try to write 2 tomorrow, but I can't promise anything...my pinky also hurts from holding my device up for so long, so I think I'm going to start using my laptop, which is slow as fuck, but anyways, I'm sorry.)
