Kerri's POV
I knew Haley was hurting. She didn't believe that she was beautiful, but she is. Any guy would be lucky to have her. I don't know why she sees herself as ugly when she's not. I looked over and saw tears in her eyes. "You okay?" I whispered. She shook her head and just stared at the road. "Do you want to listen to Troye?" (If you don't know who Troye Sivan is, we can't be friends.) "No, I don't want to listen to anything." "Haley." "Kerri." "I honestly don't know why you think you're ugly. Could you please explain?" "Because there are other girls who are a lot prettier than me." "Most of those girls are sluts anyways, so does that help?"
She laughed and shook her head, "No matter what, they'll still be pretty." "I hope you know looks don't even matter. It's all in the personality." "Well, my personality kind of needs to be fixed." "Your personality is great!" "Bullshit. You know I'm a bitch." "Everyone knows that, but don't worry, we're right there with you." "Well, that's true." "Damn right." "But what would Sal see in me?" "Sal would see that you're an amazing, wonderful, fantastic person. You're one of a kind." "Everyone is. You do realize that we would be in Staten Island right now if those two weren't yelling at me for two hours. We only got twenty-four miles in." "They were that bad?" "Well if you were awake you would know," Haley laughed.
"You're a smart ass." "You now just realized that?" "No, I knew for a long while." "That's what I thought." "So how much longer until we get to Staten Island?" "About fifty-four miles." "Already?" It's been another two hours, so yeah. I'm hoping to be there by six." "Then hope that those two back there stay asleep." "I can only wish." "I mean it shouldn't be a problem. They both are heavy sleepers." "I know. Hey, look behind us." I turned around in my seat and saw the Impractical Jokers tour bus. I smiled and hoped that Q was single, but I really hoped that we could get on Impractical Jokers.
I noticed Haley was screwing with them by stepping on the gas and then the brake. "What the hell are you doing?" "Fucking with them, duh." "This isn't safe." "When is it that I do something safe?" I pondered that for a minute and sighed. "Don't kill us." "I'm not going to kill us, besides, if I wanted to, I would've already." "Now I definitely feel safe," I stated, sarcastically. "Do you really think I would hurt any of you?" "No, but-" "Exactly, quit complaining." "Ugh!" "Don't ugh me." "But-" "Stop, you take things too seriously. Have fun once in awhile." "I do have fun it's just this is something you shouldn't joke about." "Kerri, we all do it. Everyone in the world does it," she said looking at me. "Haley! Keep your eyes on the road!" "Oh my god, stop whining!"
"You're gonna get us killed!" "No, I won't, I'm the safest driver in my family." "Bullshit." "It's true. I only go twenty above the speed limit. Everyone else in my family is forty over the limit." "Still." Haley sighed and shook her head, "I can't believe you think that I'm not a safe driver." "On occasions." "Seems like most of the time." "Can you blame me?" "Yes, I actually could. You literally complain over every little thing that I do!" "Because it's either stupid or completely unsafe." Haley glared at me and then slammed on the brakes. I was flung back into my seat and I groaned. I looked over at Haley and saw her breathing heavily. "What the hell?!" "I just hit someone," she whispered.
"You did not." "I swear to god," she said scrambling to get out. "Haley! We are in the middle of the highway!" "And I hit a fucking human being! Do you know that I could get arrested for this!?" "Well, that person shouldn't have been on the highway." "Kerri! Just shut up!" I saw the tour bus off on the right side and I sighed. "Haley, I see your boyfriend." "Sal is not my boyfriend," she mumbled. She bent down next to the truck and screamed, "I KILLED A FUCKING HUMAN BEING! I'M GETTING ARRESTED!" "No, you didn't," I snapped getting out. I looked under the truck and sure enough, there was a body. "Oh my god," I whispered. I heard Haley having a panic attack and I ran to the other side of the truck. "Haley, you'll be okay. Just breathe. In and out," I whispered, softly.
Since I wasn't helping I yelled Sal's name as loud as I could. I heard running and then saw Sal beside the truck. "What happened?" "She killed someone and won't stop freaking out. You calm her down." He took Haley from me and whispered something into her ear. He was holding her very protectively and I took my phone out to take a picture, "Don't," Sal threatened. I groaned and put my phone back in my pocket. "Now, I want you to drive the truck over and park behind the tour bus," Sal commanded. "What about the body?" "I told Q to call an ambulance. Now do what I told you to do." "You're going to walk in the middle of traffic?" "Sure why not?" "Alright, don't kill my best friend." "I'm not going to," he said sassily. "Watch it Vulcano."
He rolled his eyes and walked across the highway to get to the tour bus. I got in the truck and slowly drove to get behind the tour bus. I jumped out and slammed the door, which woke up the two idiots. "What the hell?" Rosalie screamed. I looked through the window and shrugged. They both got out and their mouths dropped open. "That's t-the I-Impractical Jokers t-tour bus!" Bessy stuttered. "I know, I already met Sal." "What!?" Rosalie exclaimed. "I. Already. Met. Sal. Vulcano." "We heard, but you did not!" "Yes, I did! Now let's go," I snapped grabbing them by the arms.
I saw Sal getting on the bus and shoved them towards him, "These two idiots are freaking out right now, so say hi." "Hi. Come on in." We followed Sal onto the tour bus and my eyes started to water when I saw the one and only Brian Quinn. I ran to him and hugged him tightly, "God I love you," I whispered. "Awe, you're sweet." I smiled up at him and he smiled back down at me. He was so freaking precious and I wanted him to be mine. "You're sweeter and the most precious human being on this planet. You must be protected at all costs." He laughed and rubbed my shoulder, "I can assure you, we four idiots are protected." Sal, Rosalie, Bessy and I all laughed while Haley was passed out on Sal's lap. "What happened to her?" Rosalie and Bessy asked. "Oh, you'll see. You will see."
