(Okay, I lied, I'm not writing an alternative ending because that's a lot to write and I realized that the ending I'm doing can actually happen. This also may be triggering for people...So on that note, get more tissues.)

"Haley," I heard. I ignored the voice and kept my eyes close. I heard a sigh and felt the blanket I had on me being torn off. I yelped at the cold air and snapped my eyes open. I blinked them a couple of times and found myself staring at my fiance. He had a smirk on his face and was trying to hold back his laughter. "You're using my vulnerability against me!" I accused. Sal cocked an eyebrow and stepped closer to the bed. "Now how am I using that against you?" he questioned with the same smirk. "Because I'm weak from surgery and I have a broken leg! I can't even get out of bed without your help!" Sal sat on the bed next to me and pulled up to him. He wrapped the blanket around me and held me close. "It's only for a few weeks, then you'll be able to do whatever you want on your own." I sighed and fell back against the pillows. Sal stroked my face lightly and stood up. He held his hand out to me and I slowly took it into my hand. He gently pulled me out of bed held me by the waist.
"You do realize that you are absolutely beautiful right?" he murmured. I snorted, "Right, with my rat nest of hair and morning breath." He smiled lightly and pulled me closer to his body. He leaned down and whispered in my ear, "You're beautiful no matter what." I blushed and looked away. He tilted my face back towards him and kissed me gently. He slowly pulled away and just stared into my eyes. I don't even know how long we were staring at each other. "Are you two just gonna stand there all day staring at each other, or are you coming downstairs to open stuff?" I heard Jenna asked. I turned around to look at her and raised my eyebrows in a 'Are you serious' way and she nodded. I looked at Sal and he chuckled lightly, "That's your kid." I pretended to look shocked and laughed, "It takes two to make a kid. So, technically, she's your kid too." Jenna laughed and came into the room. She grabbed my arm and pulled me from Sal. "Hey, you be careful with her! She's vulnerable!" Sal called after us. Jenna threw her head back and laughed, "Don't I know it! I've lived with her for fifteen years!" I could hear Sal laugh and follow us. Jenna gently pushed me onto the couch and sat next to me. Sal sat on the floor and I pouted with my arms crossed and he patted the floor next to him. I slowly got up and pulled Jenna with me. We sat next to Sal and I reached under the tree to grab his present that I bought fifteen years ago thinking I was gonna come back to see him but didn't. He looked at me confused and I smiled hugely. "Is it a pregnancy test?" he asked. I busted out laughing and choked out, "Why would I do that and how? If I was pregnant, it wouldn't be your kid." He laughed a little too and slowly opened the box and his eyes widened in surprise.
It was a watch that was expensive and I saw him look at it before and post it on social media. It was completely black and silver. To most people, it wasn't expensive, but when you hardly had any money at the time, it was. Sal smiled hugely and I saw tears in his eyes, "I can't believe you bought this for me. Don't you realize how expensive this is?" I nodded and hugged him tightly, "I bought it because you deserve it. You deserve the best that I can give you." He hugged me tighter and then I gave Jenna her present which was a lot of fucking makeup. God that girl uses that shit quickly. Sal then grabbed two and place them in front of me. There was a small box and large box. I glanced at him and questioned, "Which one first?" He pointed to the small one and blushed, "I hope you're not offended, or anything, because I don't want that to be the case. I-" I cut him off and smiled a small smile, "I'm not offended easily Vulcano." The redness left his cheeks and I tore the paper open. I busted out laughing when I saw that it was the book IT. "You're not offended?" Sal asked. I shook my head as I continued to laugh, "How could I? I mean yeah we had an encounter with Pennywise, but I've always wanted to read the book. This is great." Sal relaxed a little and gave a small laugh. He then motioned to the bigger box and I tore it open. In it were brown cowboy boots. I smiled and slowly took them out. "How did you know my size?" I asked him. He blushed again and mumbled, "I checked your other boots, anyways look on the back of them." I turned them around and gasped when I saw two dates on them. '6/22/16' was on the left boot and '12/23/31' was on the right boot. My eyes teared up and wiped them quickly. I looked at Sal and whispered, "How?" He scooted closer to me and wrapped an arm around me. "I know guys." Jenna and I laughed and Sal shrugged, "What? It's true." He then handed two gifts to Jenna and she opened the smallest one first. In it was a beautiful ring with April's birthstone. She smiled widely and put it on her right ring finger. Jenna and I admired it and she smiled at Sal. She then opened the second gift and in it were tickets for the cruise next year. She screamed in delight and tackled Sal with a hug.
