Bessy's POV

I was pacing the bus until Joe pulled me down next to him. "Why ya pacing?" "I'm worried. What if Brian doesn't get Haley?" "I'm sure he will. I mean it is him after all," Joe laughed. "But you can't fight against the law." "Haley did," Kerri mentioned. I glared at her and she shrugged. "Just because Haley did that doesn't mean Q can. He could easily lose his job." "TruTv wouldn't let him go. It's not Impractical Jokers without him, or any of us for that matter," Murr stated. "Well I mean it could be Impractical Jokers without you, Ferret," Joe snickered. "Fuck you!"

"I'd rather not. I'm not gay." (Nothing against gay people. I find them sweet.) Murray groaned and I giggled. Suddenly I heard Haley's phone go off because of the ring tone. She switched it to the song "H.O.L.Y" by Florida Georgia Line because she thought that that the Jokers would think she's obsessed with them with her other ringtone. I dashed for her phone and grabbed it. I saw it was her ex. I growled a little and answered it, "What the fuck do you want?" I spat. "Where's Haley?" "That's none of your concern." "I need to talk to her." "Bullshit!" Everyone looked at me and I waved them off.

"Bessy, please. I miss her." "You say that all the time and knowing what you did to her, I will most certainly not let you talk to her. You abused her for christ sakes!" Sal whipped his head towards me and stared at me. "I regret what I did and I promise I won't do it again." "You're lying! You always lie! You will hurt her again! You've left so many bruises on her and some STILL haven't disappeared." "But-" "No buts, Shane. Stop calling her. Leave her alone and move on because you obviously didn't love Haley enough. She has someone better than you. Someone who will treat her with respect. Someone who actually loves her unlike you. Goodbye." I hung up and threw Haley's phone on the table.

"Why won't he stop calling?" Rosalie moaned. "Because he's trying to kiss up to her," I said bleakly. "Does she know that he's calling?" Murr asked. "No, we always somehow manage to answer it before she comes back from whatever she's doing," Kerri spoke up. "Why don't you just block his number?" Sal asked. "Because if he sends threatening text messages we will take them to the police," Rose murmured. "Aren't the bruises enough?" "No, we already tried. They said it wasn't enough information to prove him guilty. They said for all they know we could've done it just to get an innocent person in jail, which is a bunch of bull," Rose rolled her eyes. "But you guys would never hurt her," Joe commented. "They don't care. Apparently, we're still suspects." "They honestly think her best friends did it?" Murr asked. "I never said that. I said they don't know who did it," Rose groaned. "Wait, but why would they assume that you guys could've done it?" Sal asked.

"Because of what happened a year ago," I blandly said. "What happened a year ago?" They guys asked in unison. Kerri looked at me and I looked back her, "Tell them. You did it after all." Kerri sighed and looked at the ground. "Kerri?" Sal questioned. "Haley and I got into a huge fight about a week after she left." "About?" "She was cutting. I was the only one who knew at the time. She and I would scream at each other, me being a concerned friend and her being the stupid person she was. I would tell her that it was unhealthy and I asked her what would you," she said pointing to Sal, "think. She yelled at me saying it didn't matter because she wouldn't meet you and would probably forget her because you have 'amnesia.' I would yell back at her saying she would meet you, but she always denied it. I got so mad at her that I physically slapped her extremely hard. I had no reason to, but I did."

"I slapped her," I said. "Yeah, but not as hard as I did. Haley is a broken person who is basically beyond repair." "Um, hello? I'm here," Sal waved his hand in front of our faces. "But are you up to the challenge of fixing her? I mean you'll have to deal with her screaming, crying and throwing things." "If I can handle Murr I can handle Haley." "If you feel like you're up for it, go ahead and do it," I said. "But if you ever take her to your house, put away all glass items and anything else that can break," Rose told him. "I hardly have anything that'll break, so I'll be good." I looked at Kerri and Rose, "It's time to let her go." "I don't want to let her go," Kerri whined. I rolled my eyes and sat opposite of the guys. "She's twenty, Kerri. She needs to live her life without us up her ass twenty-four seven," Rose stated sitting next to me. Kerri threw her hands in the air, "I'm not letting her go!" I sighed and Rose groaned annoyed.

Just then, we heard a knock on the bus door and Murr opened it. Q walked in and had Haley's hand in his. I looked at Sal and he looked jealous. "I got her free," Q smiled. Kerri hugged him tightly and whispered something in his ear. Haley looked at all of us until her eyes landed on Sal and she walked to him. He stood up and wrapped his arms around her body tightly. They looked at each other with so much love and I knew they would be heartbroken when we left to go back to PA. I frowned and slowly walked towards them. "Haley," she looked at me, "Kerri, Rose and I are letting you go." "What do you mean?" She asked. "We won't be with you twenty-four seven. I know you hate that, so we're letting you go, so you can live your life."

"You'll still hang out with me, right?" "Of course, this isn't goodbye, but I just felt like we worried too much about you and you now have Sal." "What brought on this?" She asked, clearly confused. Sal wrapped an arm tightly around her waist and nodded for me to go on. "We told them." "Told them what?" "Everything." "You what?!" She screamed. Sal flinched but didn't let her go when she tried to go after us. "You weren't going to tell them! You can't keep them in the dark. Kerri and I had to tell them what happened to you. You and Sal love each other and it's not fair to keep it from him! You don't see it, but we do! We care about you and your safety!" "You could've told him when the other three weren't around!"

"The other three have a right to know too. You can't keep them out of this especially when you have your little episodes," Rose calmly said. "Excuse me?!" She shouted. She lunged at Rose and I grabbed her arm. "Let me go!" "Haley stop! They need to know. You might not think so right now, but they care about you like we do. Please just let it go," I begged. She slid down to the floor, wrapped her arms around her legs, put her head down and started crying. Sal sat with her and held her while she cried. "It's okay," he whispered to her, "everything will be okay." But we all knew it wouldn't be. Haley was just never going to be okay.
