"You were never supposed to mean this much to me; I was never supposed to fall for you this hard. Never. But you know what? I did... and that... that is the truth, that's what keeps me holding on because it hurts like hell to let you go, but I need to do this" He breathed.
I am speechless, for the first time in forever. I can't believe it. My heart is beating like crazy as a tear escapes my eye. He uses the soft pad of his thumb to wipe away the stray tear from my cheek.
"I love you" He whispers as he places as kiss on my forehead, and with that, he was gone.
