The Strings Attached

Part 3

"ALEXA!" It's that high pitch British accent I can find out from a crowd.

"Tom!" I shout and go sprinting forward into a great bear hug.

"Oh my god, I'm so happy your here!" He says. Crying tears of joy.

"Me too little brother." I smile and look at him. Boy, he's changed since December. Not a lot, but I haven't seen him since Christmas so I guess thats normal.

"How was the flight? Did you sleep?" He asks, waiting with me to get my bag from the carousel.

"Hm, it was alright." I say and stuff my hand into my coat jacket. "I slept an bit and I started the second book!" I eyeball Tom and he jumps with joy.

"YAY!" He says like a little kid. "You have to let me proof read. I can't wait any longer." Tom pleads.

I laugh and roll my eyes. "Okay maybe. Just, lets focus on why I'm here. Hows the movie going do far?" I ask.

"Oh its amazing. The cast and crew are spectacular and Jacob, who plays Ned, is hilarious. You'll really like him."

"Thats great." I reply and reach out for one of my suitcases I brought. Tom reaches out for another one. 

"Oh yeah, by the way since your here with me you can stay at the house the set provided for us. Theres many spare rooms." Tom says and hands me my second bag.

"Great. Lets get going then."

Tom has his own car rented, so we walk across the gigantic parking lot and hop in. We drive across Atlanta to the house, which is right across from set. Every time we are stopped at a light, I keep thinking of how it would look in a photograph. I sigh, and take in all of the city. 

Finally, after what seemed like forever, we arrive at the house. Theres a few cars parked outside and Tom lets out a heavy sigh. "Looks like a bunch of people are here. It's fine though, just some cast members." Tom stops the car and gets out to help me with my bags.

Tom pulls up one suitcase and I pull the other with my other bag that I brought on the plane. Tom opens the door, that isn't locked and we walk in.

"Hey everyone." He shouts, and I can tell they are all upstairs.

Someone stands from the top of the stairs and skips down. I don't recognize him but he has glasses and is shorter then Tom. "We ordered pizza, since we got bored of waiting." He says to Tom, then looks over at me. "I'm Jacob."

"Alexa." I say back to Jacob and shake my hand. I then turn to Tom who looks worried. "Is there anything else I can eat? Since of the diary?"

"Oh don't worry." Jacob says before Tom can even reply. "Harrison ordered pizza that has no dairy since he knew you would be here."

I let out a sigh of relief, and grab both my bags. Tom leads me upstairs and across the living room. I don't recognize everyone sitting there, but I recognize some. He takes me down a hall and then to a room at the end. 

"Here's your room. Just come out when your done I guess." Tom shrugs, closes the door and leaves.

I take a mini walkthrough. Its a spacious room but still a bit small. The bed is pressed up on one side of the room, against the window which overlooks the neighbourhood. I have a dresser across from the bed and a desk on the other side of the room. I don't bother to unpack everything right now. I lean my suitcases against the wall and take a few things out of my bag. I notice that theres no connecting bathroom, which meant Tom had the master with the bathroom so i probably have to share with Harrison.

I shake it of and grab my phone. I put it in my pocket and walk out of the room to the living room. Everyone is laughing at a joke I'm guessing when I walk up behind Tom.

He turns is head at me then faces forward. "Hey everyone this is my twin sister Alexa." He points at me.

Everyone is quiet and they all smile at me. I wave bit and smile. "Hey everyone."

And then I see Harrison sitting across from Tom, and his eyes meet mine and lock. And this time, theres  a click that goes off in my head that makes me realize something.

But I don't know what yet.
