CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

As each of the members charge against their foe, Jin and Jungkook kept running trying to find any clue to where the other girls may be. The encounter of Ion made them gain hope as they felt they are getting closer to their destination and just the thought gave Jungkook a smile. The thought that gave Jungkook a smile gave Jin a worried look as he himself knows things are going way too smooth.
Jin tries to talk to Jungkook in what he thinks is a trap but the young boy just isn’t thinking of anything other than finding Madelyn as soon as possible.

Jin: Jungkook... Wait..
Jungkook: (Running)..
Jin: (Stops).. JUNGKOOK!!!
(The sudden scream of Jin caught Jungkook’s attention)
Jungkook: What is it Hyung... We have to..
Jin: No.. Now you’re going to listen to me..
Jungkook: What..
Jin: You have to open your eyes and see.. All this is too easy..
Jungkook: What do you mean...
Jin: See that gives me a clear indication already..
Jungkook: Of what Hyung..
Jin: You can’t see that all this is a trap..
(Jungkook stood still and in total shock)

Jungkook POV
I can’t believe I was so caught up with finding Madelyn that I didn’t realize I was probably doing exactly what the enemy wanted. Jin Hyung is right and I must just calm down and focus on things that doesn’t distract me.

Jin POV
Finally he is calm.. Now all we have to do is calmly look around and find anything that doesn’t seem too easy.

Normal POV
The time went by rather slow as Jin and Jungkook still standing still on their spot tries to figure out what everything around them could mean, but nothing seems to come to mind. Jungkook starts walking towards a room and tries to put his ear against the door but for some reason Jin pulls him away.

Jungkook: Why.. Did you pull me away. I was just going to..
Jin: Burn your ear away..
Jungkook: What.. What you mean..
(Points to the door.)
Jungkook: What.. It just tells us that this door is protected by..
Jin: Electricity wires...
Jungkook: So it only.. Activates when...
(Points to the roof)
Jin: Water drips on the door..

Jin POV
Just what the cripple is wrong with Jungkook. I mean for some reason he lost the idea of thinking and is making mistakes that could make him lose his life. He only does this when he’s scared but why we are almost at the destination of his girlfriend.

Jungkook POV
Wow.. I almost died.. Why am I so unfocused.. Why am I making dumb decision is it because I’m scared or is it because..

Jin: Jungkook are you focused now..
Jungkook: Sorry I was just really.
Jin: We are about to go up against someone who is totally focused and you can’t be so..
Jungkook: I SAID IM SORRY!!!
Jin: YOU DON’T PUT YOUR CARELESSNESS ACT ON ME..
Jungkook: (Shock look at Jin)..

Jungkook POV
Jin Hyung juts screamed back which he never did. Does this mean he’s fed up with me and my love problems.

Jin: Sorry.. But I am responsible for all your lives. Namjoon and the others are already giving up their lives to save their friends and especially to help you and we can’t afford you to start losing hope here now..
Jungkook: (silence)..
Jin: So keep your mind on one thing and that isn’t saving Madelyn.. Its focusing on saving your own life..
Jungkook: Sorry Hyung.. I’ll try.. (Smiles)

Normal POV
Jungkook looks at Jin and couldn’t help but smile as he knows Jin was just trying to make him understand that things isn’t just about him and his love life but now things have became a group matter.
Jin signals Jungkook to follow him as they start walking through the hallway to something that might have looked rather strange to Jin.

Jungkook: Where we going Hyung..?
Jin: Something was shining in this direction..
Jungkook: Maybe it was the sun shining in the windows...
Jin: No this had a different kind of colour to it.
Jungkook: What you mean...
Jin: Like it was meant to draw our attention..
Unknown: Well that was the whole idea.
(Jin and Jungkook turns around)
