People would call him this everyday.

Anger...

Regret...

Guilt...

Is what Akashi Seijuro would feel everyday.

Akashi likes Kuroko. He wanted to help Kuroko, but his status prevented him from doing so.
Well, he is the rich, famous, absolute emperor. It would stain his name if he were to help some lowly person like Kuroko.

Akashi would just watch from the background as the teal-head was beaten constantly.

Until...

Akashi was walking along the corridor until he heard one of his male classmates shout something.

"Guys! Guys! Kuroko's gonna jump off the roof! Come look!"

Akashi's eyes widened, his heart beat rose, he was mentally praying that it was a joke.

He, along with other students, went rushing towards the roof.

There on the roof, Kuroko was just about to jump...

"TETSUYA!" A certain red-head shouted

Kuroko turned back, seeing the huge crowd, but there was one particular person he noticed. That person had striking crimson hair, heterochromatic eyes-one red, one gold. Kuroko immediately knew who that person was: Akashi Seijuro.
Fear was evident on Akashi's face as he approached the teal-head.

"P-please don't j-jump, Tetsuya" Akashi chocked as tears were gathering in his eyes

"A-Akashi-san? Wh-wh-"

"The hell is taking so long?! Just jump you stupid brat!" One of the students yelled

"Yea! Just go and die, you ugly b*tch!" Another agreed

Kuroko then gave Akashi a sad smile

"Care to do the honors, Akashi-san?" Kuroko asked in a bitter tone

That was when Akashi snapped.

"THE HELL TETSUYA! WHY WOULD YOU ASK ME THAT?! HOW DO YOU STILL NOT GET IT?! DO I HAVE TO SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU?! I CARE ABOUT YOU!" Akashi yelled as tears were streaming down his face

I care about you.

Kuroko's eyes widened as tears were flowing down his cheeks

"A-"

"Fine! If you won't jump, I'll make you!" A students said, pushing Kuroko off the roof

Akashi's eyes widened in horror as he saw his beloved falling to his death.

Kuroko's eyes met Akashi's one last time as he gave him a look of sorrow, gratitude, and longing.

'Ah, so someone did care...'

Kuroko saw black

and Akashi saw red.

"...even if I never had you in the first place?"
