Y/N POV.

I nervously sat at the edge of the dork as the boys canon balled into the deep salty beach water while tugging on my beach outfit. All the boys of Bts knew I couldn't swim so I just watched them get their snorking gear on.

I meet eyes with Jungkook, I should be used to being around him by now shouldn't I? I mean we are practically just best friends, but I knew what the butterflies meant and how I felt.

I had fallen in love with Jeon Jungkook. But can you blame me? I peel my eyes away from Jungkook as I heard a male voice behind me.

"Are you going to be swimming?" I looked and saw a cute shirtless man, around my age looking at me. I smile slightly and shake my head.

"Ah, no. I don't know how to swim, my name's Y/N" I rub my neck shyly. The cute mans sits down next to me and I feel his bare arm rub up against mine.

"Ah okay, my name is Alex." He slides down into the water and turns to face me with a grin. "-and I'm going to teach you how to swim," I smile at his offer and nervously nod my head. He holds out both of his hands for me.

I put my hands on both of his shoulders and he puts his on my waist and gently lifts me up slowly putting me in the water. The water feels so nice on my skin. His hands don't leave my skin, which is keeping me up.

"Okay, so move you legs as if you were walking or riding a small bike to keep yourself up. Don't worry I won't let go," He smiles charmingly at me and I grin at him.

I do as he says while still holding his shoulders. I feel my foot slip on his thigh and before I could react I fall forward. I closed my eyes expecting my head to hit the wayer but instead I fell right into Alexs' chest. Clichè right?

I couldn't stop the blush rising to my cheeks. Our noses were nearly touching and I could hear his breathing.

Jungkook's POV.

I felt my chest rise and fall rapidly as I tried to control the anger and jealousy rising up. The way he looked at her. The way he held her made my stomach turn and my fists clench. I couldn't stand to look at him with Y/N. They looked like they were about to kiss and I snapped.

"Hey hey, Alex I got this," I wedged myself in between Alex and Y/N and grabbed her waist out of his hands and into mine. They both gave me a comfused look.

"I'll teach you how to swim, thanks for your help Alex," He could see the glares I was throwing at him, he raised his hands and jumped out of the water.

"Suit yourself, nice meeting you Y/N," Alex sent her a wink while walking off. My jaw tightened until her voice snapped me out of it.

"What was that about Jungkook?" She asked curiously obviously teasing me. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"I'd prefer to teach you," I left it at that. Y/N wrapped her legs around my waist and her hands went behind my neck as I slowly carried her further out into the water. Her grip tightened on me as she tensed, I could tell she was feeling a little scared.

"Don't be scared, I've got you, promise," I smiled at her and she smiled back. I couldn't help but let out a tiny awe as she looked at me, she's just too adorable.

"Okay so here's how you do it,"

It didn't take long for Y/N to get the hang of it and soon she was swimming pretty well. She cheered cutely in victory as she came back up from her short snorkling trip.

"Thank you so much Jungkookie! I've been missing out on swimming! It's so much fun," She smiled and hugged me, our bodies pressed against each other and I didn't want to let go. Especially the thought of Alex made me want to hug her tighter.

It was obvious that I liked Y/N, I'm sure anyone could guess it. But I never had it in me to tell her. I put on my snorkling gear and held Y/Ns' hand as we both dipped under the water together.

Immediately the beauty under the surface of the water was unbelievable. I held onto Y/N hand and pulled her a long slightly so she could swim a little better. We swam past a few cute little fishes, and lots of beautifully coloured coral.

Y/N pointed at things she saw put I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. Her hair floated gracefully around her and her eyes met mine. She caught me staring at her, but unlike every other time, I didn't look away.

I kept the stare and moved closer to her, I didn't know what I was doing, all I know was that it felt right. Soon we were both swimming up right and out of the water. As soon as we broke the surface I took out my mouth piece.

"Y/N I couldn't stand seeing that other guy teaching you how to smile. I was jealous and angry at him for getting to hold you and look at you cause that's what I wanted to do. I love you Y/N, and I know this might ruin our friendship but I d-" I rambled on until I felt a pair of wet soft lips on mine.

I was met with her beautiful entrancing eyes as she pulled back.

"If I'd have known doing that would of gotten you to confess I would of done it a long time ago,"
