32.7k LIKES | 9.6k COMMENTS LUCASJZUMANN: thank you all for your kind comments. they've been such a help during this time. ive never appreciated any of my fans more than now and ive been beyond grateful for everyone who's stayed by my side. even at seventeen years old, i knew poppy hedren was my soulmate. she brought so much joy to my life and even with our ups and downs, everyday she made me smile. this picture is one of my favourites of her, a picture from one of her last days. she was my moon and i was her sun. ill never meet a person like her again and there will remain an empty place in my heart for a while. i know she's looking down, smiling at how dorky this whole thing is and she wants me to get through to the other side. for anyone who knew poppy like i did, you know she was an energising person to be around and she was just the most down to earth and loveliest girl. she always saw the best in everyone, including me. ill miss her dearly, especially in the coming months so i will be taking a short break from acting and social media to focus on my wellbeing but i promise, ill be back to the world of gilbert blythe in the new year. i also want to take this time to share my deepest condolences with poppys family. and also ask you to please be respectful. lucas x
