"Hi!" I greeted them as I stood up, quickly putting my hoodie over my head.

Fast enough so that they couldn't see my face.

"Hey, are you okay miss?" A guy with icy blue eyes asked me.

"Mhm." I replied.

Another guy with mahogany brown eyes coughed, "Phil, we should get going. Right, Peach?"

A girl with fiery red hair nodded, "C'mon."

"Wait." Phil said, "You look familiar."

I laughed, "I get that a lot. Honest, I've never met you before."

Olivia grabbed my arm, afraid our cover will be blown.

"Hey, actually, you do look familiar." Peach commented, "What do you think, Chris?"

Chris narrowed his eyes at me, "You don't have split-personality by any chance, do you?"

I felt Olivia's grip on my arm tighten.

"Of course I don't." I replied with a giggle.

"Would you mind if we get a look at your face?" Phil asked.

"Actually, she does." Olivia told them.

"Oh, but why?" Peach asked with a pout.

"I was burnt there." I lied.

"Really?" Chris asked then slowly took my hood off.

I gritted my teeth, "This isn't fair."

"Life isn't fair, darling." Phil told me.

Olivia let go of me and took off my mask, "Two against three? Paradasial Gang is so unfair. What a disgrace."

"Compared to your gang?" Peach asked with a raised eyebrow.

"For your information, bitch, we play a fair game." I said with a giggle.

"Yeah, if attacking with a freakin' bomb while we only had riffle guns is what you call fair." Chris growled.

Olivia and I put our hands up in defense, then simultaneously said-

"You shot our leader on the shoulder and our co-leader in the leg."

Peach scowled, "And you left half of our gang as ashes."

"How would you feel if we shot your leader right in front of you?" Olivia spat.

Her jaw twitched but said nothing.

"How 'bout we take you to her instead?" Phil offered with a smirk on his face.

Her? Oh, this is gonna be good.

▪▪▪

This is not good.

I repeat, this is not good.

I know, I know, 'But Dayana, you said it was gonna be good a while ago? Why the sudden change of heart?'

What heart?

"Are you okay?" Olivia whispered to me.

I nodded and giggled, "These losers don't know who I am."

"We know that you're harmless without a weapon." Peach said, twirling her knife around her fingers.

I laughed so hard that I hit my head on the recliner of the car.

Phil glared at me through the rearview mirror while Chris hit his head on the steering wheel out of anger.

Well, someone needs anger management.

"Can you just, I don't know, sit still-"

"'Cause I don't wanna just sit still look pretty!" I cut Phil off by singing.

Peach winced while Chris's knuckles became white from gripping the steering wheel too hard.

"Dayana!" Olivia exclaimed.

"What?" I asked innocently, batting my eyelashes for more effect.

"Can you just- you know what, forget it. The only people you listen to are Leon and well, yourself." She said with a sigh of exasperation.

"I listen to Leon sometimes." I told her, "Sometimes, Olivia."

"Yeah, sure." She said sarcastically.

"Are we there yet?" Peach asked deadpanned.

Chris groaned, "I wish we were. Then these two can shut up."

"How can two be so annoying?" Phil added.

I kicked the upholstery.

"If there's a shoe print there..." Chris warned me.

"You won't do anything unless your precious leader gives you permission." I finished with a giggle.

A knife was thrown my way, grazing my cheek and breaking the car window.

"What the fu-"

"Fudge?" I finished for Phil.

"What the hell, Peach? This is my freakin' car! Do you think I picked this up from the streets?!" Chris exclaimed, hitting his head on the steering wheel.

"No." Peach said deadpanned as we took a right.

"You grazed my cheek." I told her.

"I was aiming for your mouth." She snapped.

I gritted my teeth and grabbed her hair.

I accidentally elbowed Olivia who was between us but I didn't care.

"Let go of me!" She exclaimed and scratched my arms.

I let go of her hair and got a grip on her arm, "Oh yeah?"

"Girls!" Chris exclaimed.

We ignored him and I punched her stomach.

I think I hit her too hard because she choked out blood.

"Oh, you've done it now!" She exclaimed and pushed me.

The car stopped, making us fall off our seats.

"Get out for a quick second, Dayana. Phil, go with her." Chris commanded.

I rolled my eyes, "You don't control my life."

Phil got off and opened my door from outside.

"C'mon, just for five minutes." Phil said, grabbing my wrist and led me out of the car.

I looked around to see we were in a one-way road surrounded by trees.

"We're getting close to our Paradise. Please just calm down." He told me, his icy blue eyes turning to sky blue eyes for a quick moment.

Like melting.

I closed my eyes for a second and went to a nearby tree, with Phil in pursuit.

Millimeters away from it, I side-kicked it and punched it three times.

Phil yelped in surprise.

"I'm fine now!" I said with a giggle then twirled around.

He shook his head, "You really are something, Dayana."

I smiled.
