Chapter 15 - Trip to the forest

"Everyone get back to your seats," Mr Jae said as he entered the class.

I don't know if I've mentioned him but Mr Jae is our class teacher as well as our English teacher. He's actually pretty young.

I'm not even kidding, he's in his twenties alright.

And he was also pretty popular.

I sat up straight ready to listen to what he was saying.

"so you all might have had fun yesterday," he said putting the books on his table. "but I have to give you all a even better news."

Everyone groaned.

"no it's not the exam paper, trust me on this, you will like it."

The class remained silent.

Mr Jae looked at all of our expressions and grinned, "you guys are going on a trip."

Everyone in the class cheered. I looked at Suzy and grinned.

"and this time, the seniors are also joining you guys."

Oh shit.

"your groups will be arranged later, so prepare accordingly."

He later went on to explain that the trip was to a forest so it was gonna be in the woods.

Then he dismissed the class and we all walked out.

"Naomi could you please come here a second?"

I stopped and walked towards Mr Jae, "yeah?"

"you did really well in this exam," he smiled, "keep it up alright."

I smiled, "thank you, I'll make sure I do my best."

"and I wanted to ask you," he paused, "is something bothering you?"

My eyes widened, "N-no, everything is fine sir."

"well, then if anything is wrong come and speak to me alright?" he said looking at me.

"okay," I nodded slightly and took my leave.

What does he actually know? Did he come to know about the threat?

"what did he say?" Suzy asked me as I walked out.

"he just asked me if something is wrong," I frowned.

"maybe someone told him about the threat?" Suzy asked.

"yeah, maybe."

I just hoped that was the case.
