Chapter 26; first day home

*April 6th

*twins are 1 day old

*4pm

Spencer POV

When we get home We carry in the girls. They were both sleeping in the car seats

"So do I take them out or leave them in" I ask Toby laughing a little

"Ummm... maybe we should let them sleep. Are you tired?"

"Okay, and yes are you?"

"Yes, how about we go lay down, and take them in the room with us, so if either of them cry we will be right there."

"Okay!"

We take the girls in our room, I left them in their carseats, but unbuckled them so it was more comfrontable, I figured if I moved them to their cribs they would wake up. Me and Toby took and small nap.

About 45 minutes later Penelope Started crying

I woke up and got her, and sat up in bed with her, she was hungry.

Toby sat up with me too.

"Hi, how was your nap?" Toby asks me

"Not bad, didn't sleep much. You?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, and pretty good."

"Thats good"

"I see Pennny's up!"

"Yupp, she was hungry."

not even a minute later Kylene started crying

"I'll grab her." Toby said as he gets up and gets Kylie.

"She okay?" I ask

she stopped crying

"Yeah, i think she just wanted to be held."

"Want dinner?"

"Sure."

"What do you want?" I ask him

"Want to just order pizza? or Chinese?"

"Let's order chinese!"

"Okay, I will order it while you finish feeding Penny."

"Okay!"

We order and eat chinese. It was about 8pm.

I laid the girls down in their cribs, and went in the bedroom with Toby

*The girls room is light gray on 3 walls and a pink flowery wall paper on one wall On that wall Penelope's crib is there, with the letter "P" above the crib in white across there was Kaylene's crib with the letter "K" above the crib in white, The crib's are white. Next to each crib is a white dresser. The window was on the next wall, next to the dressers and on the other side of the window was a diaper changer. across from that was the closet, and next to the closet on the wall there was a round mirror with a white fancy vintage frame around it. There is also medium brown color wood floor, with a round pink rug in the middle of the floor.

as I walk into the room

"Ready for bed? The girls are down." I ask/tell Toby

"Great! let's lay here and watch some tv then go to bed. You have the baby monitor right?"

"okay, and yes!"

We lay in bed, and I lay on Toby's chest watching tv.

"This is so much comfortable not being pregnant." I say laughing

"I bet, you can sleep on me." He says and kisses me

"Okay!"

We go to bed about 10 minutes later.

The girls woke up multiple times through the night, Toby always got up with Kylie because he could feed her if she was hungry, and I always got up with Penny. The system worked pretty good! But We are both really tired.

Authors note: First day home not a too exciting. But the next chapter might be, we still have some more weddings and births they have to go to, and their honeymoon, and some other vacations I am planning.
