- You have to feel it spiritually

- Love at first sight (in a way)

- Really possessive over their mate

- Will go rogue, crazy, or worse if mate dies

- You only get one real mate (another if lucky)

- Could be forced to marry another to make allies with different packs

- It is possible to be rejected by your first mate and find another (rare)

- You can feel what your mate is feeling, and hear their thoughts as well
