Chapter 50 ~ Epilouge

I don't know how to spell "Epilouge". Sorry.

Anyways, this chapter is a time skip and a short story of the rest of their lives, and how everything ended. Enjoy the song too (kinda random choice XD)! I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT THIS FAR! Enjoy!

*Amy POV*

After Luke was born, life was GREAT. I got to watch as he grew, I watched my sister and Wyatt grow together too.

Their days of time traveling were over. Everything had been fixed, and the world was the way it had been before.

I still remember when Little Luke saw a horse for the first time at a parade and he immediately loved horses. His parents signed him up for horse lessons a couple years later when he was 10; Guess who his trainers were?

Willow, Maple, and Sven.

Rex and Tango were gone now, walking with their ancestors amonst the stars, while Crystal was still around.

Crystal was the first horse Luke ever rode.

He turned out to be a great horseman.

Willow, Maple, and Sven moved back to Pennsylvania, to the small town of Tunkhanock.

Luke took over the equestrian center. Lucy and Wyatt always stopped by to see how he was doing with his animals. Luke adopted kids of his own and taught him all about the equine world and how to treat animals respect. That made Lucy and Wyatt grandparents, and me, a great aunt.

Lucy never found out about anything that had to do with our mother after she left her, and never wanted to find out.

She didn't find me either.

And then MANY years after that, Lucy and Wyatt retired. They enjoyed retired life very much. Then they moved to a nursing home. Here is the story about the end:

*3rd person POV*

Elderly couple, Lucy and Wyatt had a wonderful life. There they sat, at 89 years old, in their room at the nursing home. They began to find themselves getting weaker every day. One day, they decided to let go. They were dying, and they knew it. Rufus came by in his wheelchair, and said goodbye to his friends. Jiya wished them a safe journey to their families.

After Rufus and Jiya left the room, Wyatt looked over at Lucy. She looked at him.

He reached out his frail hand to her. She gripped it tightly.

"I love you Lucy." He rasped.

"I love you too, Soldier..." She whispered.

Wyatt shut his eyes and then it was over. His machine beeped.

Tears spilled from Lucy's eyes. Then she looked over to her left, surprised to see a young Wyatt standing over her. Not only was he there, but Amy was! Luke too! And family friends. Even Tango and Rex.

"Are you coming, Luce?"

"Of course, Wyatt.."

Lucy's spirit then joined her friends and families. Amy opened a window. Light came into the room.

"Let's cross over." She said.

But before any spirit could move, the door swung open. Their son Luke raced in with his three kids.

"They're gone.." He whispered. And he began to cry.

His children hugged him and cried too. They each laid a flower on the bed of their grandparent's and wished them a safe journey. Rufus and Jiya came in too, tears threatening to spill.

The spirits held hands and make a circle. They skipped around the living and sang.

"Wanna swim in your river
Be warmed by your sun
Bathe in your waters
'Cause you are the one
I can't stand the distance
I can't dream alone
I can't wait to see you
Yes, I'm on my way home
Oh, I hear the wind call your name
It sends me back home again
It sparks up the fire
A flame that still burns

And with all that I've learned, oh

Then Amy lead them all to the light.

Lucy and Wyatt had stayed together forever.

And it was obvious that their love was:

Timeless.
