Pizza and Beer

I looked down at the six pack of Bud Light. "Sky I'm not letting you drink and that's final!" Joseph said in the voice of my father's. I was upset so I was trying my hardest not to laugh at his awesome impersonation.

"That's not fair Jo you've been drinking since you were 14 and what? I can't have a beer?" I argue.

"Yep because I'm a dude and dudes can do that." I crossed my arms over my chest like a child and frowned. The doorbell rang and Joseph shoved the money for the pizza we'd ordered in my hand.

"Go handle that." he said turning his attention back to the TV. Drew surprisingly hadn't tried to defend me. He was just looking down at his phone. I opened the door and the pizza guy who was carrying two pizzas, a 2 liter pepsi and hot wings looked at me. "That'll be $30.29." he says. I hand him 35 dollars and say, "Keep the change." I am about to shut the door when he says, "If you don't mind me asking is all that for you? It seems like you're home alone. I don't see any lights on in your house." Um weird much? I thought to myself. "Um no I'm not here alone. Thanks for delivering." I say hoping he will go away.

" I'd deliver for you anytime." he says winking at me. The guy has to be at least 22 and totally not attractive so I'm disgusted.

   " Hey dude, get lost. If I see you here again, I'm gonna kick your ass." Drew says from behind me causing me to jump. The pizza guy looks scared. "You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend." he says a bit shaken.

"WE'RE NOT TOGETHER!" We both yell at the same time.

"Now get lost!" Drew orders. The pizza guy does as he is told and Drew shuts the door. "Thanks." I say to him. He ignores me grabbing the food out of my hand and walking back into the living room where my greedy brother awaited. "Hand me a beer." I heard Drew ask Joseph. I leaned against the wall trying to catch my breath. Whether we were together or not, Drew was always there for me. The first time I realized this was when I was nine...
