"Those were good memories though."

"We totally kicked their asses that time you won." She laughed which made me laugh along.

"What are you smiling about?" Mark asked with a laugh. He looked in my eyes as if he was searching for something.

I shrugged, the smile never leaving my face. "Just good memories."

We found eventually found a good place to sit and I took Layla in my arms. "I wonder where Chantal and Liam are." I looked at Blake who was talking to Jennifer about how we were going to stay here as long as possible since Jennifer wants to see the sunset. There was this feeling inside me that told me something wasn't okay and with Chantal and Liam being gone I'm only more worried.

"Don't worry, they're safe." Addison tried to assure me, placing a big blanket on the sand. She took the bag from my hand and I sat down, still with Layla in my arms.

"How would you know that for sure?" I almost whispered. I was looking at Layla, she's the out come of what Scott and whoever is helping him could do.

Ethan sighed. "Because they're right there. Stop moping around and let's swim!" He took Layla out of my arms, gave her to a confused looking Chantal and practically dragged me to the water.

Let's have some fun.

After Ethan and I swam in the water and ended up playing beach volleyball with Mark and Blake, I was exhausted. I laid down on the big comfy towel and closed my eyes. The sound of the waves being the most calming sound I had heard in months. I felt carefree and safe, something Scott had slowly taken away.

Just as I slowly drifted away to a deep sleep.

"Katharina..." I softly heard someone say. It kind of echoed through my mind. I recognised the gentle female voice but I just couldn't seem to know who it is right this second. I opened my eyes and sat up.

I was still at the beach, the only difference now was that I was all alone.

Or so I thought as I looked to the ocean. A girl with long beautiful red hair was standing in the water. She was wearing a short white dress and the water came till her knees. The high waves from earlier were gone and it seemed like the sun was about to go down.

I recognised her. "Abby?" I softly said. "Is this a dream?"

She turned around and started walking towards me, slowly. "You could say this is a dream, yeah." She said with a soft smile. I felt incredibly confused, why couldn't she just get straight to the point?

"Why so vague? You must be here for a reason, right?" I laughed. "Never mind, you're Abby, of course you are here for a reason. Care to tell me what it is though?"

She stood in front of me now. "You and your friends are in danger, you have to get back to the apartment. I can't tell you any more than that, they would notice."

I looked at her as she sat down. "Why are we in danger? Is Scott here? Did he find us? Nobody is hurt, right? What if he hurts someone again?" I started showering her with questions but she seemed to be in some sort of daze. I touched her shoulders and I felt a small tingle. It was like I just touched Blake but more weakly.

Abby also seemed to notice as her head shot to the side, looking at me with a shocked expression. The same expression my face probably had. It was as if she was my mate but there was a distance between us. It remembers me of the day before my birthday, where I met Blake. The tingles and the sparks and everything were also weak but yet strong at the same time.
