"How did your parents kill mine? I saw pictures of the crime scene. It looked like they killed themselves, just the way Emily did." I asked Blake. I was in full on crying mode. After this I don't know if I will have any tears left for later...

What if I never cry again after this? Is that even possible?

"My biological mother has the compelling power. My father was actually a human. But because he was born in an high ranking he didn't have to be brainwashed and send to Earth." Blake told me leaning in closer. His lips almost touched my ear when he wispered something in it. "Stop biting your lip, it's distracting. It makes me want to kiss you and you and I both know we shouldn't be doing that after everything I just told you." He wispered. He kissed my cheek and moved back.

I probably blushed like crazy after he said that. I always bite my lip when I'm nervous, turned on or when I just don't know what to say. I think I'm all of those things right now. "I'm sorry." I mumbled. "By the way, Project Earth was started so long ago, how come your father had to go to Earth? But yet he didn't because he had a high ranking? Are they still sending humans from Mars to Earth? I don't understand..." I added trying to keep focusing on our conversation and not focusing on the things we could do right now.

That didn't involve talking at all.

"No they aren't sending people to earth anymore. Like I told you, Earth is still so many years behind. When they started the project Mars also found some products that stops your skin from aging. Later those products turned into medicine. The people on Mars age slower than us. One year for them is like 20 years for us. Most of the people there start using it when they're around 17 years old."

"So what you're trying to say is that you are very old?" I said confused. So one year for us meant 20 for him. That means he's like 80 years old...

He couldn't be, right?

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Blake's beautiful laugh. "No I'm not I never used that shit. I'm all natural sweetheart."

"By the way, if everyone from Mars has one power. How is it possible that Jennifer, Addison and Scott have powers. Are they also from Mars? And how's it possible I have all of them?" I asked him. I couldn't wrap my mind around it. It just didn't seem to make any sense.

Nothing is making sense nowadays.

"The humans placed on earth were half werewolf and some even less than a half. So that means that the power genes and the werewolve genes still ran through their veins. I guess it's just a coincidence that we know a few. I don't know why you have all the powers. My parents- not the biological ones- told me it might be a gift from the Moon Goddess. Maybe that's the case with you as well."

Could that be the reason I'm mates with Blake? Because we're both gifted?

As if reading my mind. "It could be the reason we're mates, maybe we have a purpose?" Blake told me.
