Key necklace

--Ashton's POV--
I wake at the crack I dawn. I really need to get out of here. I fold up all of the sheets I slept on and place them on the couch.

"Ashton?" I hear someone say.

"Dang it," I mutter, "Hi Louis." I turn around.

"Why are you up so early?" He asks.

"I just really have to go, nice meeting you and thanks for letting me stay." I run out the door, leaving a confused Louis behind.

I have to get back in time. If I screw this up, I'm dead. I get on all fours and run back. I get there and knock on the door.

"Come in!" He yells.

The door squeaks as I open it, "Hello?" I call out.

"Back here!" He says.

I follow his voice to the kitchen, he turns around with a drink in his hand,

"Hello Ashton, how are you?" He asks.

"I'm fine." I say.

"Did you find it? And do you have it?" He asks.

"Yes and yes." I say.

"Good, give it to me." He says.

I pull the small key necklace out of my pocket and hand it to him.

"This'll teach her not to mess with me." He smirks.

"Are you sure this is a good idea Michael?" I ask.

"Of course!" He yells.

"Ok, W-Well you promise me something." I say.

"Oh right, here you go." He gives me a small key.

"What's this?" I ask.

"It's your key." He says.

"Oh right, thanks." I take the key and unlock my shock necklace

"You're not done." He says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"You know what I mean." He says.

"Do I have to?" I ask.

"Yes, if you want to live." He says.

"Uh, fine." I sigh.

"Now get out." He says.

--Harry's POV--
"I better leave Zayn a note so he knows I'm gone." I mumble to my self.

So I take a stick note and write,

Went to get Alex, be back soon

I walk into his room and stick it to his forehead. I head outside and fly in the air. I make my way to Luke's house.

I shakily lift my fist to knock on the door. I hear shuffling for about a minute before the door is opened.

"Oh hi." Calum greets me.

"Who is it?" I hear Alex ask.

"Can I talk to Alex?" I ask.

She walks up, "Oh hi Harry." She mumbles.

"You're not still mad at me are you?" I ask.

"I don't know." She sighs.

"Alex I know it's hard to believe but if you give me the chance I can explain." I say.

She inhales and exhales," You've got one hour, do you think you could handle Parker?" She asks Calum.

"Uh, I think Luke's got that under control." He chuckles.

"Ok, I'll see you later." She hugs him and he closes the door behind her.

"Come on." I grab her wrist and we fly in the air.

"The women that raised you didn't know you weren't hers." I say as we continue to fly.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Her baby died, right after our mom died." I say.

"Ok so?" She says.

"I gave you to her because I was to young to take care of you." I say.

"You gave me to a stranger?!" She yells just as we get to the house.

"I had no choice." I say.

"But, you didn't even know her!" She yells.

"Come on inside." I say.

"Ugh." She runs inside and slams her door.

--Alex's POV--
I sit down on my bed and realize I'm not wearing my key necklace. I don't remember taking it off. I get up and look through my jewelry bow, nothing.

"What the heck?" I mumble.

I begin to move things on dresser, still nothing.

"Where is it?!" I scream.

"Alex are you ok?" Harry asks.

I run out if my room.

"Where's my necklace?" I try and take deep breaths.

"What neckless?" He ask.

"My necklace from my... My mom." Tears rush down my face.

"When did mom give you a necklace?" He asks.

"Not our mom, they one that raised me." I'm still crying.

"Are you alright?" Zayn asks.

"N-No but thank you." I stutter.

"It's ok Al, we'll get you another necklace." Harry says.

"You can't just replace it!" I say.

"Um Alex?" Zayn says.

"Yeah?" I turn towards him.

"I think I know who has your necklace." He says.

I run to him and sit on the couch next to him,

"Who? Tell me! " I say and he flinches.

"Sorry I didn't mean to yell." I say.

"It's ok." He says.

"Well, do you know? That necklace is really important to me." I say.

"Yeah, well you know that kid Ashton?" He asks.

"The one that showed us the way home?" Harry asks.

"Yeah, that one." Zayn says.

"What about him?" I ask.

"I couldn't sleep last night, so I was just laying in the dark. But some boy walked in and I got scared. He looked like Ashton but I couldn't tell. He went upstairs and after about five minutes he came back down and left." Zayn explains.

"Thank you so much Zayn." I throw my arms around him.

"You're welcome." He pats my back.

I get up off the couch and run to the door.

"Want me to come with you?" Harry asks.

"I'm good, thanks." I say before slamming the door and running to Louis's house.
