Learning to live on my own (Sequel to Step brother)

I could get used to this

Austin had a show tonight in downtown Miami. I was gonna bring the kids because I wanted them to see their dad perform. I've never seen him perform either so I'm excited about it. I know he's such a good singer because he's been practicing for days now and I almost know the words to his songs he's been rehearsing so much.

"Who's coming to your show?" I asked

"A lot of people. You guys, my mom, Alex, Rob, Zach, your dad and his date. Theirs gonna be a lot of people their but you guys are gonna be backstage with my mangers and crew" He said while he was brushing his teeth

"Oh alright sounds like it's gonna be a fun time. I've never seen you perform" I smiled

"Yeah it is fun, but I'm kinda nervous because I don't really have a big Audience yet and I don't know how many people are gonna show up. I tweeted out that their was gonna be a concert tonight and a lot of people re tweeted it but I don't know how many people are actually gonna show up"

"Don't be nervous you can sing great" I said hugging him from behind and he looked st me through the mirror

"Thanks babe" He said putting his toothbrush on the holder and exiting the bathroom

"Daddy" Nevada said standing up on my bed

"Nevada sit down before you get hurt" I said taking him off of the bed

"Hey little man" Austin smiled down at Nevada who was pulling on his shorts

"I'm coming with you tonight" he said

"Yeah I know your all gonna be their to see daddy perform"

"Yes" He smiled showing his baby teeth

"Lelia where are you?" I asked looking down the hall

"I'm right here mommy" She said coming out from behind me

"Where were you?"

"I was in the bathroom"

"Were you putting on my makeup" I asked wiping the highlighter from her face

"Maybe" she said shyly and ran into Austins arms

"Hey baby girl" He said picking her up "Did you get into mommy's makeup?"

"Maybe"

"I don't know what to do with her she's crazy just like me already getting into makeup at 4" I chuckled

"She is your daughter" He laughed

"She is also your daughter"

"I know but she's more like you and Nevada is more like me"

"Well Nevada is the boy so I assumed he would be"

We had to go down to the venue a couple hours early so Austin could do a sound check and make sure everything was good for the show tonight. I dressed the kids in something dressy and I had on high waisted shorts and a tank top with a cardigan over it. The Miami heat was hot though so I don't know how long I'm gonna be wearing this for.

We drove down to the venue and met up with his managers I was introduced and so was the kids. Alex has Amari so he was gonna be bringing him here tonight when he showed up with his new girlfriend. She was sweet I liked her and I approved for her to be around my son. Austin and I were kind of dating again but not officially again. We aren't really mentioning it to anyone we're just letting it go as it is.

"Scarlet so nice to finally meet you" Rocco said holding his hand out

"As it is to you, I'm so excited for Austin" I smiled shaking his hand
