Meaning To Me:

#1. Well to me, this image shows how global warming is speeding up the extinction of many species which is why the butterflies are melting (dying) because of the sun's heat. 

#2. It's also a sad but beautiful thing and I felt the need to create a simiar image to the one in my mind.

How the idea came to me?

After drawing Salvador Dali's "The Persistence Of Memory" and then melting the grandfather clock on my wall onto a hallway's mirror (The Persistence Of Time), I realised how easy it is to melt things and I could simply look/imagine anything and melt it and imagining melting butterfies looked wonderful...

It was produced by using watercolor pens, watercolor paint, a shading pencil, a 0.7mm lead pencil, and a "Pigma Micron 01" black pen.
