This is a direct observation of a real pineapple. I used three different mediums: Shading pencils, a black ballpoint pen, and coloring pencils for experimentation on how they would look together. It shows how despondency (Black ballpoint pen) can elevate to hopefulness (Shading pencils), then further elevate to euphoria (Coloring pencils), vice versa. This indicates how in life, a cycle of emotions is usually experienced and how everything will be alright. "Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end." - John Lennon.
