This is the final illustration of Board 1. It contains a wolf, a Reaper, and a child. The wolf was copied from a secondary sketch of a wolf but I developed it using colors like blue, purple, and pink which are colors that wouldn't fit the description of a wolf in the real world but can be found on fantasy worlds. The rest of the image was designed by me using my imagination.

The idea of this image came from fantasy stories of creatures like demons turn to the good side but can never really be looked as "good" and so these creatures aren't invited on any occasions (Like Maleficent, the fairy that wasn't invited to Sleeping Beauty's birthday). This is shown by a wolf celebrating the birth of a child while the Reaper cries as it is pulled back and trapped by the red, orange, and yellow torturous flames of hell. The flames are illustrated in a trees form as a reference to the tree in Adam and Eve's story from The Book of Genesis. The moon acts as the protector of the child as it usually seen as pure and so it pushes the Reaper away with its pure blue flames as it supports the child. The flames are blue as a reference to the blue heavenly skies. The moon is also blue to reflect the wisdom of God, yellow as yellow is a cheerful color and green as light green is a color of health. The blanket of the baby is pink to show the feminine love of a mother. The materials used for this illustration are watercolor pencils.

Inspiration #1:

This image of the moon and the fairy had inspired a piece of the image I created. The moon's size and face was taken and reproduced in my work. The image was found on Google.

Inspiration #2:

This image of a wolf was found on Google in 2015 and worked as an inspiration to add a wolf to the story.
