In this drawing of a direct observation, I chose to use red, orange, and yellow coloring pencils to reflect the warm sunny day I found it on. I also used a shading pencil to give it more life.

This direct observational drawing was produced using red & orange ink, salt, tracing paper, and a black ballpoint pen. It was an attempt at drawing on tracing paper and sticking on top of a background. (This is the same shell as the one situated above).
