In Secret (Sequel to Behind the Scenes)

Important Note

So, I realize that I said that the resolution to that cliffhanger wouldn't take as long as the last update had, and now here it is almost a month later. I do apologize, but I have a reason other than just being terribly busy. 

Obviously, the next chapter is going to have some traumatic events. I'm not going to say what, but fires of this nature are devastating, no matter what. When I first sat down to write this, I had to stop because my beta and inspiration would not be able to read it, as there had just been a terrorist attack really close to home for her, and many people had been killed. I worked on it slowly, but was unable to get far, given the mood at the time. It was too much. 

I began working on it again, got a bit done and let her begin reading... and then there was a terrible fire in London, again, close to home. Many people died; men, women, children, I'm sure some pets, and it was awful and heartbreaking. It felt poor taste to write and then publish a huge fire incident so soon after such an event. 

While the tragedy of these events will never fade, some of the hurt has, and it's enabled me to start writing this chapter again. I swear to you I AM working on it, and it will be out shortly. Or me, I suppose, if you'd like. I'm publishing these fics there as well, with a few minor changes, and a few enhancements to some of the chapters. She and I are also in the middle of a collaboration set in the universe of Fairy Tail that her fics are based in. Her work is absolutely amazing, and I'm honored to be able to work alongside her in this. Check it out when you've got some time!
