Charlie's Point Of View
"I'm bored!" I yell as I put my head on the window.
The boys chuckle as we hear Rainer snore.
She is loud.
"How long till we get there?"
"Few more hours." Jake says as he grips the wheel while humming to the radio.
"I was- oh my gosh!" I am sick and tired of her snoring!
I take off my seatbelt and reach over to Rainer to flick her in the nose.
I know Rainer well enough to know she jerks in her sleep, she stops snoring but jerks her hand in the air.
I dodge her as I turn to sit back down, satisfied that I got her to stop snoring.
I yawn as I lean back in the seat, and before I knew it, I feel asleep on Andy's shoulder.
"Sam!"
"Sam!"
"Hi Charlie!"
I jerk my head around to see Sam sitting on the stump of a tree.
"Why so you love teasing me?"
He patted the seat next to me and answered.
"Because I love you and it's fun!"
We sat and listened to all the animals and bugs, and the sound of rain from the previous night falling onto the ground from leaves.
"BOO!"
We both jump to see Sam's best friend Manning grinning.
"Boys." I mumble as I shake my head and get up from my seat to look at the waterfall near by.
I hear them talking about something but pay no attention to it, the sight that I see is beautiful.
This is a sight that you don't get to see everyday!
"Hey Charlie?!"
I turn to see Manning holding up a deck of cards.
"Wanna play?"
I nod as I make my way back over to the boys.
"I will beat all of you!" Manning says as he shuffles the cards.
And he didn't.
Sam and I teamed up to beat Manning and it worked.
He went home mad at us that day for bragging but it was so worth it!
"Charlie?"
I turn around but nobody's there.
"Charlie?!"
I turn all directions to see nobody anywhere.
"Charlie Campbell!"
"Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, Charlie!"
I jerk awake hearing my name being called over and over again.
I turn to see that my head it still on Andy's shoulder but it's fine cause he's asleep so he put his head on top of mine.
"We're getting something from Sonic, do you want anything?" Jake says as he parks the car.
I shake my head and put my head back under Andy's.
This is gonna be a long ride.
