Phi's POV
The doctors had informed me I'd be in here a while.
Lawrence and Alek had been released but usually ended up in my room, sleeping on the beds. Kirsty didn't seem to leave either. Some of Alek's friends had come to wish me a get well soon.
The food here sucked, but otherwise it was a fine stay. Nurse Joy didn't really bother me. She didn't say anything when Alek and Lawrence slept in except for the first time. She started to say something but suddenly forgot.
Yes, I was Influencing her. Her mind, being brilliant, was astonishingly easy to Influence.
The Pravus was dead, nothing could bother me.
Alek loved me so much it was heart-breaking.
Everything was perfect.
Why, then, did I have a feeling everything around me was about to fall to pieces?

Thus marks the end of Unknown Presences.
At least, the first book.
The next one is going to be about six years in the future, when their twenty-one.
