Azalea steps forward. "Madam, please, he's just scared. Please don't hurt him", she pleads.
"I will be the judge of that. Now, where is he?", asks Picquery. Azalea turns to Newt, who nods at her.
Azalea slowly goes to Credence's hiding spot. "Come, it'll be alright", she says, beckoning him to come out. Credence comes out and walks with Azalea, keeping himself partially hidden behind her.
It's not a child, but a scared young man, shivering and whimpering. "He is responsible for the death of a No-Maj and I can't possibly allow him to live", says Picquery and Azalea quickly to shield Credence.
"Please! He's just scared! He didn't mean anything!", says Azalea.
"An Obscurial must be destroyed, Auror Hawthorne. Don't let that destroy your career", says Picquery.
"I rather destroy it than see this boy, who has repressed his magical ability to die without me fighting for it. He was abused and alone. I know what it feels like to be alone! So, if you wanna kill him, you have to kill me first", says Azalea, standing tall to protect Credence.
"Lea, please...", Percival begs.
"No, Percival. I won't allow it", says Azalea.
Picquery shifts her attention between the two of them and senses something's amiss.
