Imagine #01 // Vernon

You were a dance instructor for seventeen's new comeback. Pledis hired you a few months ago but up until now you only helped a bit for Pristins debut. It was your first time working with a boy group and actually choreograph the entire song . It made you nervous

Today was the day their manager was going to introduce you to the boys.On your way to their practise room, your hands started getting sweaty, your heart was beating so fast you thought it would jump out of your chest any minute now

The manager took notice of how nervous you were.He turned to you , smiled and said "Don't worry, I'm sure the boys will love you and all fourteen of you will get along well"

Opening the door to the practise room laughing filled the room . The music on the speakers was loud , some were dancing others were joking around . The manager clapped his hands ever so loud . One noticed you two , he bolted to the computer and stopped the music . Immediately everyone looked at him . He walked til he was in front of the manager

He bowed and apologised for the mess.  Soon enough all thirteen of them were standing next to him bowing. This made a smile appear on my face

"Did you make any progress in the dance routine ?"He asked. A boy with black hair spoke up,"We did make some solid parts that will be permanent, we just need to piece the dance together with some parts we didn't figure out yet"

When their manager heard what he said he clenched his jaw . He was obviously mad , he had told you before about how they were struggling for a week . You could feel the anger radiate off him. He was about to yell at them and you spoke up.Your voice came out small and you could hear a hint of fear in it.

"Please don't yell at them." You said looking at the manager in the eyes "We can work on the parts they didn't find yet and make them go with the ones they have" He nodded , sighing he rubbed his temples. Turning his head towards the boys he said "(Y/n) here will help you with the choreography, introduce yourselves and then show her the choreo so she can fill up the empty dance parts.The comeback is in one month and a half, please do get it done by then"

He exited the room and left you standing there in akwardness.All thirteen boys were looking at you. "It's rude to stare guys, let's introduce ourselves okay? My name is Seungcheol, stage name is S.coups and I'm the leader."

"My name is Jeonghan,nice to meet you" "I'm Hoshi and this is Seungkwan" Seungkwan bowed to you and looked at you smiling.

"I'm Seokmin, thats Dino the maknae and thats Jun" "I'm Jihoon, that's Joshua,Minghao, Mingyu and Wonwoo next to him"

"My name is Vernon" He put his hand out for me to shake.We shaked hands and I smiled at them

"Well my name is (Y/n) as you already know. It's a pleasure to meet all of you, I think we are going to get along well"

After they introduced themselves to you, you showed them the parts you thought would fit in the dance . They immediately danced to the song with your parts . It fit perfectly , they were all pretty excited for it. Two weeks passed and the manager came to watch them dance to see their progress

You were positive they would get a clap and congratulations for this .Everyone danced to the song in sync but you were nervous for one member . Vernon was  clumsy,  not in sync and it took him a while to learn the dance

the others said he is a fast learner , it was odd that he didn't know it from the first days .Right now though, he was the only one falling behind.

The music started, everything was going great until the manager told Vernon to come close to him. You and the others tensed."I noticed you are slow and sloppy compared to the others , why is that happening ?(Y/n) will help you in learning your parts. After all of you practise together and everyone leaves , you will stay and have private lessons. So that means more practise for you. (Y/n) I hope I'm not putting much on you."

"It's ok, I don't mind."

Everyone continued on dancing with "sloppy" Vernon glancing at you now and then , but you never noticed as you were too focused on the others.

Vernon and you became quite close friends after the manager told you to give him private lessons. Today marked the one month since you met the boys. You practised with them as usual but you weren't aware of the boy that was nervous for another reason

Since it was seven o'clock you brought some snacks and some iced tea for you and Vernon as a gift for his hard work. After you started practising with him his moves got better and better but you didn't want to tell the manager since you got attached to this boy

You arrived at the practise room early and set the stuff down waiting for a certain boy. Vernon on the other hand was walking towards the practise room, going over how he would tell you he likes you. He didn't tell anyone and that made him extra nervous because he couldn't get any advice from anyone

As he entered the room he saw you laying the snacks on a small blanket. You heard him enter and looked at him, his heart fluttered and a smile immediately reached his lips. You went over his parts and he got them down perfectly. You hated to admit this but it was time you told him

Both of you sat down and started eating the snacks you brought.Vernon would glance at you every second he got the chance to. "Vernon you know now that you learned your parts we won't have private lessons right?"

You looked at him but he was sitting closer to you staring at your lips.Your cheeks were slowly starting to become red."I know.." he whispered and took a quick glance at your eyes.Those eyes he fell in love with."You don't know how bad I want to kiss you" your eyes widen and the blush on your cheeks became more evident

He was so close, you could feel his breath fanning over you. He licked his lips as he looked at yours and came closer. Lost in the momment you leaned in too and your lips brushed against his making the momment short as someone knocked the door and entered making you jump away from him . Your face was definately as red as a tomato now

"Did I interrupt something?" Dino said scratching the back of his head.
