I'm going to the Oxbow arts camp in CALIFORNIA!!!

I can't wait.

Its not for two weeks tho.

17 DAYS!

HOLY CRAP!

I'm so excited!

May 30 to June 15!

Or 16 if i'm counting wrong!

We have to have a maximum of 4 performances while we are there.

It's may 20 now, so that gives me 10 days to pick 4 songs (or less) to sing.

I AM SOOO STOKED!

Wait 'till Simon hears.

And Ella and Lyn.

And River.

*sigh*

I was on my way out when I saw Simon walking towards me.

He looked kinda bummed out.

"Hey Simon, whats wrong?" I asked all caring friend like.

"Oh, nothing, how about you?"

"Dude, i'm finer then a fine thing on fine day!"

"Well, stop. It scares me."

"Don't you want to know why?"

"Ok, why are so so damn fine?" he said a little to enthusiastic

Simons face turned red.

"uh, not like that fine but, uh, you know what I mean..."

"Yea, i know what you mean." I laughed. "I'm going to Oxbow! IN CALIFORNIA!!!" I shouted.

"Holy crap, Cammie, that amazing! I told you you could belt out a tune."

"Fanks Simon." and i hugged him.

He was so great. All support-y and stuff.

Ah, what besties are for.

"So, how long?" he asked.

"17 days in Paradise."

"Wow." was all he said as he walked away.

I thought he was supposed to be happy for me?

You don't just walk away after your bestfriend tells you she's gonna be gone for 17 days, do you?

I get that he's upset but still!

I picked up Eric and as we walked home, he was singing.

I have no idea what but he was singing.

"Catty?"

"Yes Eric?"

"Do you love me?"

"No, Eric, I hate you."

I saw sadness in his eyes as he looked away.

"Ducky, i'm kidding! I will always love you!" I told im, being all sisterly

"Even when i'm bad?"

"Yes, even when your bad."

"Thats why I love you too, Catty. You the greatest and nicest and funnest Catty ever!"

"Eric, I think i'm the only Catty ever."

"THATS OK!"

I smiled as he ran into the house.
