Mikah has really bad mommy issues and has grown to have an attachment to Kamiya over the years. He still considers her a mother figure.

Mikah

I was going to my moms house because I really needed to talk to her. I haven't seen her in 2 weeks. It's might not be long for other but as for me that shit is like a whole month.

I parked in the driveway and saw that she was home and Cam wasn't. I went to the door and walked in because the door was unlocked.

When I walked in I smelled something good coming from the kitchen. I walked to the kitchen and saw Kamiya cooking.

"Wassup ma." I said

She turned and walked to me pulling me into a tight hug. Then she let go and slapped me upside the head.

"Where the hell you been boy. I ain't seen you in 2 weeks." She said

"I was working." I said

"Yeah okay." She said

"I need to talk to you." I said

"About what?" She asked

"I'm not in love with Jamila anymore." I said

She stopped and turned.

"I'm playing." I said laughing

"You tryna get killed aren't you?" She asked

"Nah I just needed your attention. But she is thinking I'm cheating. Because I work a lot." I said

"Just tell her you not." I said

"I did and she still don't believe me. She took my son and left." I said

"She told you where she was going?" She asked

"She said a friend house but she ain't got no friends so I don't know where she at." I said

"You don't seem like you care much." She said

"I do but... ma this shit getting old as fuck. Like this been going on for a few months. I'll come home like 10 minutes late and she'll swear I'm with another woman." I said

"That's doesn't mean you should act like you don't care just sit her down and explain everything to her. She's going to find out sooner or later. You might wanna tell her before you lose your fiancé." She said

"Can you tell her?" I said

"No sir you a grown man and that's your woman." She said

"You know how she feel about it though." I said

"I do but she'll get over it like I did." She said

"Ma how long did it take you to get over it?" I asked

"We not talking about that right now." She said

I shook my head.

"Just tell her your helping your father and brother run a gang and she'll understand." She said

"Ma that shit don't even sound right." I said

"She'll understand baby." She said

The front door closed and I heard footsteps. I turned and Marcus and Brandon were about to walk into the kitchen but paused.

"Why are y'all home?" Miya asked

"We didn't feel like staying." Brandon said

"I don't give a fuck about what you do. You not my damn child but you Marcus this the second fuckin time you skipped school and if your dad ain't gone deal with I am. Take your black ass upstairs now. Brandon I don't give a fuck were you go but your gotta get the fuck outta my house now." She said

"I told you she don't give a fuck about us." Brandon said

"You really trying me ain't it. You my nephew so I'll beat your muthafuckin ass like your my child." Miya said walking to them.

"You ain't my mama. My mama don't hit me so I'll be damned if you do." Brandon said

"Aye don't talk to my mama like that." Marcus said

"Yo mama better not put her hands on me." Brandon said

He all calm and shit and I'm scared cause ion know what she gone do. She standing there just staring at him and shit. I don't know if I should leave or hold her back.

"If I put my hands on you what's gone happen? You gone hit me? Boy I'll beat you and yo mama ass. You in my fuckin house disrespecting me and you think imma let you slide?" She said all up in his face.

"Aunt Kamiya you better back up." Brandon said

"You got my son out here selling drugs? You think you hard because you went to jail for 30 days?" She said

She pushed the soul outta Brandon. He fell into the living room floor. Brandon quickly got back up and pushed Kamiya. I got up and me and Marcus punch him at the same time.

"What the hell going on?" I heard Cameron say.

"This nigga came in here disrespecting Kamiya like he somebody." I said

"I already don't like his ass. Gone up out my crib. Marcus go upstairs now." Cameron said

Brandon quickly left and Marcus ran upstairs. I don't see why they scared of Cameron more than Kamiya. You can reason with Cameron but once Kamiya mad she mad.

"Marcus don't bring that boy back into this house." Cam yelled

He heard the door slam.

"I found out he selling drugs." Cameron said

"Yeah Malaysia was hold a gram this morning. She said it came from Marcus."

"I don't know what happened to him." I said

"I don't know but he better tighten up before my pops come over tonight." Cameron said

"He better tighten up before I knock his ass out." Kamiya said

She walked back into the kitchen and Cameron was watching her ass. After all these years he still stare at her like she ain't his wife.

"Wassup bruh?" He said still looking at her ass.

I laughed.

Karmen

I heard my front door slam shut and me and James looked at each other. I got off the bed and me and him walked to the door. Brandon was standing there pacing.

"She put her fuckin hands on me." He said

"Watch your mouth." James said

"Who touched you baby?" I asked

"Aunt Miya." He said

"See James this the shit I'm talkin about that bitch touched my baby." I said ready to fight.

"What happened?" James asked him.

"Me and Marcus got out of school early because we wasn't feeling good and we went to his house. Aunt Miya just started flipping on us then she pushed me out of nowhere. I tried to apologize but she kept pushing me out." He said

"Let's go now." I said

She got me fucked up if she think she can put her hands on my child. She already spreading rumors that he selling drugs and shit. My baby wouldn't do shit like that. But I'll teach her to fuck with my and kids.
