"My princess, is everything okay?" asked my servant Bryce
"Yes Bryce, I'll get out in... some minutes" I looked again at my dress, today was the carnival and as tradition, the king and queen of the kingdom must go, but my mother was killed by the enemy army and my dad was beheaded by the people of the village, I was the last one of the royal family, but what could be worst than to be blamed for mistakes of someone else? my father made a mistake with our people and they considered it treason, so he was killed, now people don't look at me the same way they used to, but I'm not responsible for my father's actions.
"My princess?"
"Yes, Bryce?" I answered as I dusted myself and walked to the door
"The new general of the army is waiting for you" I opened the door and walked our as my heels echoed through the stone walls, I reached the big door that lead outside the castle but I still had to pass the garden. The doors opened and there was the general Cartoonz aside of his horse with ten soldiers around, the general turned around as he kneeled
"My princess, we have everything ready for the carnival"
